- 2-face thin-crust pizza. Ask nicely & if kitchen is not crazy-busy, u can get half-n-half toppings. Undecided, we enjoyed 4-cheeses (pizza al quottro formaggi) & parma ham (prosciutto parma ham)
- Agree with 4SQ Nancy - everything tasted yummy. We enjoyed our day's special (tomino cheese) & pastas: spaghetti carbonara, penne bolognese, squid ink spaghetti, tagliatelle tartufo, lobster ravioli
- "Cacio e Pepe" means cheese & pepper. Imagine a stripped down Mac & Cheese dish. I enjoyed the namesake prepared here: crispy baked cheese basket holding a creamy pasta serving
- There are 3 tables at the back of the restaurant, for an alfresco feel. Comfy & private, with an industrial fan blowing, if u r ok w the slight kitchen exhaust emanating through
- Tagliatelle Tartufo ($26) is one of our faves here. Pasta soaked in truffle sauce, & served with scallops & prawns. Naturally aromatic w nutty texture
- Seafood linguine baked in paper (Linguine al Cartoccio). Tuck into an ocean of crayfish, clams, squid, prawn swimming in homemade marinara sauce. Slurp!
- A cosy place, with home-style Italian cooking. And they use fresh seafood (source from Jurong Fishery Port), not the frozen ones a lot of restaurants are beginning to use.
- Charming hole-in-the-wall. Call for reservations so that you won't be turned away disappointed when they are full during peak meal times
- Beef lasagne like u wd cook it at home. Honest full flavours. Takes 20-30 mins to cook. $20. Substantial enough to feed 2 adults!
- Bucatini. The spicy tomato sauce highlights the bacon & onions. Slurp! U can let them know ur preference for spiciness level
- Ample parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. Plus it's smack in a residential estate, much like Greenwood & Binjai Park in Bukit Timah, so look for a nook and cranny.
- Elizabeth KohMay 22, 2018Salmon steak; lava cake with ice cream; quiet, cosy and romantic ambience; friendly and knowledgeable co-owner-waitress
- Tortelli Granchio. Pasta stuffed with lobster & crab meat. Marinara sauce was silky smooth. Topped with prawns
- Penne alla Puttanesca is a spicy offering. Garlic, chilli, capers, anchovies, black olives served in tomato sauce
- Risotto w mushrooms. Mushy yet aromatic. There are bits of mushrooms but otherwise suitable for folks on soft chew diet 👍🏼
- hidden gem - authentic home-made pastas! every pasta that I've tried at this place was excellent, but the truffle pasta, in particular, was out of this world
- Dawn LimJanuary 7, 2016Hidden gem for pasta in the West in a cosy little low-rise estate. Authentic and awesome Italian fare!
- Penne Bolognese. As rustic as it gets. Ground beef or pork in freshly-made tomato-based sauce
- Jin Ngee ChiaDecember 29, 2018Everything is good here. Especially the spaghetti carbonara done traditional Italian style without the use of cream.
- Charming & popular Italian resto hidden along a row of shophouses in the sleepy Hillview neighbourhood
- Spaghetti squid ink ($24). Savoury taste of the sea, complete with squid, clams & prawns
- Mozzarella on a bed of arugula leaves is as simple and lip-smacking as a starter as it gets 😁
- Daily specials. Yay! We got grilled squid today. Simple flavours from all that burn & smokiness
- Tagliatelle al Tartufo. Sublime with scallops, prawns & truffle pesto sauce👌🏼
- Hui Yi GohApril 6, 2013The pumpkin soup was excellent! It was the soup of the day, not a daily menu item. Best pumpkin soup I've ever had.
- Pizza Bella Roma has a surprising touch — peppercorns! Strong spicy hints 🌶
- oh, and also don't forget to order dessert - the lava cake and tiramisu are soooo delicious
- Justin LeeSeptember 27, 2013Burratta, squid ink pizza, Chicken pollo and four cheese pizza are good! The lava cake is delicious
- If the restaurant sounds familiar, it's because they used to operate out of Rochdale Rd (Bartley Rd-Upp Paya Lebar Rd area). They shifted to present location end 2011.
- Molten lava cake. So yummy, it's not to be shared 😬
- Pizzas are solid and reliable. Staff very friendly. All in all a great neighborhood joint.
- SaudadeSeptember 29, 2013Place is ulu but food is very good overall. Worth a visit if you're seeking a decent Italian meal with homey feel.
- Derrick TanApril 26, 2015Authentic Italian food but not the best in Singapore. Pizza from la Nonna is better for the same price range
- The vegetarian pizza is the best pizza I've had EVER!! Must try!! And also the service is very good!!
