- Olly SussamsJanuary 18, 2015This place makes leytonstone. Beers great, red wines are awesome, live music is quality. It's exactly what you want any night of the week.
- Sunday lunch here is enjoyable - v. polite staff will wait on you at your table for your food and drink! Try the Beer Battered Haddock with Fat Chips and Minted Mushy Peas. Leytonstone's finest Pub.
- Great selection of craft beer, always a few darker ones on regardless of the weather. Friendly staff, generally a good relaxed atmosphere. Cool graffiti / street art out back.
- One of my favourite pubs in the area. The rear garden is cozy but closes at Midnight The doorstaff are surly and downright rude The product choice is superb, the staff know what they're talking about.
- Cate TFebruary 9, 2015Ooh the staff are lovely and smiley and will melt your heart. Lots of craft beers but also some amstel and grolsch for the less adventurous. A win for leyts!
- Jorge BronzeDecember 25, 2014Lively atmosphere. If you want a seat, get in early. Otherwise, enjoy the decent pints and have a dance to the loud music.
- Andy BurgessOctober 11, 2015Wow. A seriously nice place - tasty food, spacious, and pleasant staff. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
- Mick ConroyOctober 5, 2014Best pub East of Hackney Wick, excellent craft ales and a very cosy feel. Huge ceilings, real wood, comfy sofas.
- Tim Etherington-JudgeFebruary 17, 2013Everything you could ever want from a pub. Great craft beers, good food, wonderful service and classic tunes
- Luis ChuvaJune 19, 2015Delicious burger and lovely service! Will come back for more of both! Many thanks
- Great place. Good crowd and a big, changing selection of interesting craft beers.
- Great pub - lots of space. Good beer, live music, & food.
- Lauren BainesApril 16, 2014Great pub was much needed in Leytonstone. Food menu is good and staff are friendly.
- Great pub, definitely the best one in Leytonstone. Really good food as well.
- Luigi PalomboAugust 2, 2015If you like hops then of course there's beavertown but try the kernel ipa or the raging bitch too
- Leytonstone's hidden gem. Food is tasty and good value. Hearty burger although chips abit dry
- Luigi PalomboAugust 2, 2015It's going to cost you, but you'll enjoy a much nicer beer here than anywhere else for miles
- Big garden out back, although it feels abit like a prison court yard.
- DanJuly 15, 2012Time does not travel at the same speed here. It's awesome but be careful, before you know it all your friends have grown old and the world is not the same
- The decor may be cliche, but the vibe is chilled and the food is good.
- Steve LarsenMay 10, 2014same SSID of RED LION but they've updated the wifi pwd which is now: theredlion
- MtoMJuly 4, 2011In leytonstone, the shoreditch of the 2010's, the red lion is the thin edge of a cool wedge.
