This amazing restaurant provided me one of the best consumption experiences ever. They've surprised me and my girlfriend with a birthday dessert without being noticed about the celebration date.
It's easy to get to know how the computerised menu system works. It takes 15 min from ordering each dish to it arriving so order SLOWLY - e.g. leave 10 mins between ordering starter and ordering main!
Take techie friends and play with the interactive tables. Don't take a hot date. It's too distracting. The loos (from the St Alban), which was in the same space previously, are divine.
Known as much for its cool tables as it is for its sumptuous menu of sushi, sashimi & other Asian delights. Expect the same computerized menus displayed on interactive tables. Read more
The experience is great, the Regent st venue stunning, the food is usually good, but the service is very uneven, they get especially confused when it gets busy so cold/mixed up food happens ofen
An innovative service idea using interactive tables. Very busy in the weekend better place a reservation. The food is average, a typical asian food. Try Baby crispy shrimps & Chicken Satay♡
Great for a date thanks to the interactive tables but it's overpriced for the food. Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/inamo-review-sw1/
Amazing experience! But experienced one issue - ordered Berkshire pork neck, and it turned out to be full of ginger even though there was no ginger in description! I hate ginger :(
Tried the 2 course set menu. Small dishes were tasty but the 2 large dishes we tried were terrible. The flavours were completely wrong for the pork neck and couldn't even eat any of the salmon yuzu.
The service lacks attention to detail and it feels chaotic at times. It's not a patch on the original Inamo and I suggest you go there given the choice.
Just a place to visit and experience the technology to order food. But the food it self is average. I ordered chicken and they served it cold as it was coming from the fridge. Not a place to eat :(
Has a very fancy and modern way of ordering food-- just literally clicking the menu on your table. Had to wait for over half an hour though, which is absurd for an expensive restaurant.
Love the innovative ordering; enjoyed the OK food; Disliked the awful service (mostly systemic, not personal). We say-go once for the novelty but .. Go once only.
The new Inamo St James in Piccadilly Circus feels like the novelty has worn off for this high concept, dull food restaurant. We gave it 2 out of 5 stars Read more
inamo St James is an innovative oriental fusion restaurant and bar that couples interactive ordering with a high standard of food. Situated on Regent Street in the heart of the West End, the menu has influences from Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean cooking and beyond.
