Evelyn DeLeonNovember 12, 2012Great place to just relax and enjoy nature! Lots of picnic tables to enjoy a meal outdoors.
There is a Men's and Women's locker room with showers and indoor bathrooms. It's near the tennis courts, inside the same building of Smoothie Kings. $0.75 for the showers.
Awesome place to run. My only complaint is that the shower and bathroom area is so old & dirty that I'd rather go to work/home then use them. In dire need of an update.

Andy BitnerMarch 27, 20132.9 mile trail, so it's a bit short. Would be nice if there were some trail maps that included some of the stuff that isn't part of the 3 mile loop.
I owe it to Memorial and its beautiful running trail for helping me train for all the races I've done this past year. This trail feels like home.

Wow. The womens water fountain is definitely coldest. That was prob the best tip ever!! Sincerely, creeper standing by the womens restroom filling his water bottle.

Make sure to keep your dog hydrated! There are doggie fountains next to the regular fountains spread out on the trail.

I'm just a lowly jog/walker but even I understand the rules of the track. You warn ppl as you pass on the left, stay on the right, don't walk 7 abreast...
Get 4 miles out of your cardio routine. Start at the 0 mile marker & head to the 2 mile marker & turn around back to your starting point. Its a great place to just walk and relax all at the same time.
Great place to come and relax. Put your earphones in, jam your favorite tunes and run.
Best part.of a 3 mile run is sitting under the shade in the stretching area afterwards!
I enjoy this park all the runners give me more motivation :)
Houston refuses to put more than 1 drinking fountain at the stretching area, so bring your own water.

Reminder... Dogs on leashes, clean up poop, no bikes and don't walk more than 2 abreast.... Please!!
The water fountain by the women's restroom at the tennis courts is the coldest!
Amy VercherMarch 2, 2016Too much traffic to make this a serene run. Buffalo Bayou or the Rice Running Trail are far superior.
- Maybe someday the City will get the idea that we need more water fountains at the stretching area. Good thing they put in those 4 really expensive electric car charging stations that no one ever uses!
