Looking out over the Old Naval College and across to the towers of Canary Wharf, the statue was given by Canada in 1930 to recognise the General- RobJuly 19, 2011James Wolfe 1727-1759, victor of Quebec, lived here.This monument, a gift of the Canadian people, was unveiled by the Marquis de Montcalm.It is still scarred from being bombed in WWII...
