Great place to people watch in midtown. Food is American continental & standard for NYC. Get the jalapeño grits. Only a few spots in NYC do grits justice, I know b/c I'm from NC. Bartenders r GR8 too!

My FAVORITE spot for dinner, dessert, and drinks. For food, you absolutely must get the Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese. I dream about it. (Don't forget to pop downstairs for the photo booth!)

One of the best brunch spots in the city! Free juice/alcoholic cocktails with an order of brunch entree. Gets pretty crowded, so definitely make a reservation. I recommend Wild Mushroom Omelette.

Great for parties. Their space is beautiful with an industrial hipster feel. Delicious quality food with different variety. The gnocchi was to die for. Their drinks were phenomenal, coffee martini !

While dinner here is awesome, we prefer to eat at this hip spot for brunch - reservations are a must. The BLT+E is to die for, and what makes it extra delicious is that it's served on a croissant!

Brunches here are my favorite! Get the smoked salmon egg benedict and the potato waffle benedict, they're heavenly! And if you're craving a dessert, get the s'mores! You won't regret it

For a chain restaurant (they have multiple nyc locations, plus dc and Chicago), it is really amazing and great option for some solid American cuisine foo- salads, burgers, fish, steaks, etc

We seem to have a thing for brasseries—though this one is decidedly American, with more comfort food than a Southern diner, like the guilt-inducing breakfast pot pie and jalapeño cheddar grits. Read more

Brunch destination. Food is excellent, but you need a reservation and the din (huge crowd, tiled walls) makes conversation tough.

Great spot for brunch with a group of friends. Fun vibe and pretty tile decor. Food is top notch-- totally delicious twists on classic brunch staples.

I tried scallop and kale salad. And they were so delicious. Service is very good. The only negative comment could be it was too loud. Because it was so crowded. Fancy restaurant in NYC!

R29: Go-to spot for brunch connoisseurs. Sticky glazed donuts served with warm chocolate sauce, vanilla bean French toast, side of Brussels sprouts, cheese grits. Old-fashioned photo booth downstairs.

Probably the best French toast I have had. And you get one complimentary drink with it. The brunch crowd is big and the restaurant does get loud though

Avocado toast for breakfast or brunch - best I've ever had! You get two pieces of yummy bread, a pile of avocado, salad, two poached eggs. All is perfect! Yummy and healthy!

Quite a busy place with very decent food - actually the lamb chops were the best I've ever had...juicy, tender and precisely "medium". Service is nice and fast.

Go to spot for brunch connoisseurs. Start off with a basket of their sweet, sticky glazed donuts served with warm chocolate sauce. Vanilla bean French toast. Photo booth downstairs!

there's no doubt the food overall is creative and delectable, reasonably priced unlike the drinks, but still not sure the wait of hours was worth it, but they did comp us some appetizers to apologize Read more

For some reason, this Smith location has the best brunch out of all of its locations. I always try something new each time I go for brunch and it's usually good!

Shrimp&Grits dish is a must! Noisy on ANY given night so don't try to have any serious conversations here. Fun nights...celebrations...date night if you can sit at a cozy corner table!

Great brunch. Get the the eggs with spinach and potato waffles. Also head downstairs peek inside the little black hole in the wall- and don't forget the photo booth. And yes, it takes credit cards.

They mean it when they say "big salad." Great-sized, filling salad: roasted chicken on arugula with candied walnuts and lotsa other deliciousness. Definitely enough for a meal.
