Absolutely fantastic service from very friendly staff. Really cosy atmosphere coupled with a great little menu makes Shaker & Company a must visit.

Knowledgable staff. Old Fashioneds are ready-made in a barrel so no waiting around! Keep an eye out for the sherbert cocktail; it's a real treat.

Try the wonderful soul food menu...hush puppies are lovely and the Cajun chicken bites are to die for with chipotle sauce...try these with a Potato Sack Sour cocktail...mmmm

Hush puppies and jerk chicken wings -yum, if you like spicy, this is the place! Breakfast with Obama- a drink that'll wake your tastebuds up!

Go downstairs - when we visited it was a Benedictine Monastery,with old school desks for you to sit at, next month, who knows what it’ll be but we were promised a big change. Read more

Check out the Belvedere Red Room now in the basement bar...believe in giving. 50% of all profits from BelvedereRED goes to fighting AIDS in Africa...drink and help ;-)

Try the pumpkin hush puppies over halloween...with the Pumkin Toddy with Mandarin Napolean, thyme, nutmeg and earl grey tea.

The cocktails are just ok and a bit expensive. Bartenders are friendly but avoid the happy hour crowd.
