Huge parking lot, but still fills up early on weekdays and surrounding streets require a permit. Consider yourself warned.
Decent station, has 2 restrooms. Get here early during the week for parking, or just go to Colma station: parking fills quickly in the morning and parking in the neighborhood is 2 or 4 hour only.
Be on the lookout for the cars with the new seats. Will make you feel a lot better about sitting down.

Colma BART is near 280 and if there is no parking at Daly City an alternative. If 380 traffic is heavy then San Bruno may be a good choice for S Bay drivers.
Once for all BART lines on the system Daly City Station is one of Station that has very interesting people at night and most dirty restroom I have ever seen.

To add on to the person who said to take the SFSU shuttle - plz DON'T if you're not a student/faculty member. We wait in long enough lines, and the shuttle is supposed to be for us. Thanks!

Get a transfer from the transfer machine before you exit the fare gates for a free ride on the 28 bus!
Left escalator is towards SFO. Right escalator is for downtown and East Bay.
No more paper transfers, just tag your clipper card when you board muni after!
Bring sunblock in the rare occurrence that the sun decides to shine.
After 10 am, its easy to find parking in the commuter section
If you are heading to Colma, South SF, or San Bruno you can take any train. There is no specific train you have to take.
- Remember to pay parking before getting in the train!
Traffic doesn't stop for cars going to BART at the corner of Hillcrest and De Long Streets.

- Too many pigeons, and too many old people feeding them - they've improved the layout so you're less likely to get pooped on, but the vermin are still rampant.
Do not depend on the scheduled train departure time for routes starting in Daly City... Train operators are always too busy talking to other BART employees to depart on time. Average 3 minute delay.
