    If you mean the area near the PUBLIC HOUSING, I get the wariness. I've been out & about here plenty of times "after dark" shopping in Target. Aside from the gypsy cabs, no one is going to bother you.

    I live around here. I just recently moved. No one really bothers you around here. The place is getting better with time. Love the view to my apartment. Promenade building.

    On the cusp of Riverdale and Kingsbridge. If they open an Applebee's and a Target you can be sure things are not what they used to be. Part of Manhattan zip code wise, but not by geographics. Small.

    I was expecting to get shot but it's actually a pretty nice area. Hanging out in the Applebee's and target near the 1 train station. Locals seem nice.

    Unsafe. No police presence. Watch out for drug dealers at downtown 1 stop.
