So this is a beer garden. They serve A LOT of beer. They have two bathrooms, with one toilet each. That wasn't the best planning. But the beer cheese pretzel is great.
Adam KnappAugust 24, 2012Along with the standard German Fare and Beer Hall selections, they have some amazing healthy starters in the beet salad and buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes.
In the winter the fire is roaring and cozy, and they serve mulled wine like you'd find at a German Christmas market.

The pizza is great as is the beet salad. You can get better wursts at other German bars. The music volume really gets me - it is unpleasantly loud, even when (especially when?) the place is empty.
Great selection of beers and to die for truffle potato chips. Just be warned the windows close up at 11pm.

New place, interesting angle. Good beer, good food and great service. It's early days, looking very good....(But they should really get rid of the frosted windows)

The pizzas are insane - and the perfect portion to share with a friend! Try the pretzel, obviously.- Greats taps, pretzels, and South Brooklyn Pizza. What's not to love?
- Try the home made pretzel with bier cheese! Pizza is an amazing alternative too.
Food and beer is awesome. I would normally like the music but this is a conversation place and should act more grown up. Too loud.
Yummy beet salad and a great big extensive beer list. Nice big tables. The frosted windows are an ... interesting choice.

I love the draft beers — especially the German wheat beers — but the food menu is pretty blah and overpriced

Best pretzel ever. And I've been spent plenty of time in German beer halls.

Table-mates long finished before my pizza arrived. Server tried to pass off wrong pizza as the one I'd ordered. All pizzas burned underneath (like, black). Odd place.
