Lots of great trails in a big forest secluded within Houston. Busier in the morning. Most trails are stroller friendly if you have kids. (Photo by my 4 year old)

Awesome place to go chill on a weekday and decompress. As soon as you get started down any of the trails, it's really easy to forget that you're smack dab in the center of a huge concrete city.

This is an excellent green space inside the loop by the Galleria area. The trails are variable in length so you can go for however long you want! Check the map before leaving the info center!

This place is a quiet haven amongst the crazy city. Great for studying, couples, or just some time for reflection amongst nature.
