Bru Burger is the best burger spot in Indy, and ranks among the best in the country. Get the StiltonBleu Cheese Burger with a side of hearty Indy style Onion Rings and a Sun King Cream Ale!
Great atmosphere, perfect for a date night or a family dinner. Some of the best burgers in Indy. The outdoor patio is perfect for people watching while enjoying local brew.
Love their local beer selection. I have been here multiple times, yet cannot tear myself away from the turkey burger - it's fabulous! The curry and slaw combination that tops the burger really works!
Get two Burger Snacks, upgrade them to the fancyburgers for a sampler. I tried the Garlic 3-cheese (fan-frikkin-tastic) and the bourbon (tasted like rubbing alcohol). Recommend the union rings!
I've had a hard time finding anywhere that makes burgers that stack up to Bru Burger's, both in size and flavor. Decent beer selection, too. FYI: If you do want a smaller size, ask for "snack" size.
The food is outstanding! I had the Pacific Rim with a tuna patty, and the onion rings. It was absolutely delicious! Keith was our server, he was also outstanding.
I'll tell you what's up: Buttermilk chicken tenders, dip in beer cheese. Mac 'n Cheese is incredibad and I don't even like spicy. Bourbon burger, sub the horseradishhavarti for sharp white cheddar.
I'm dubbing Indianapolis as the best city in America for onion rings, maybe this is the true meaning behind the name "Circle City", they don't make them like here anywhere else.
Get the burger stack instead of a full sized burger. It's only $4 compared to $10 or $11, comes in all the styles of the full price burgers and is only a bit smaller than the the full size.
This place is fantastic. The meat is local and tastes great. The fries with a trio of dipping sauces are a guilty pleasure, and the burger toppings are creative and unique without being hoity-toity.
Burgers are really good. There's ample variety for toppings. Ketchup is homemade and not bad, although I still prefer Heinz. Tea is good. Service is good too, although atmosphere is a bit loud.
Ok - your on Mass Ave so you are short drive to the near east side's Pogues Run Grocer - Indys first food co-op that is open to the public with an amazing selection of organic and bulk food
Food and management are phenomenal...I had the veggie burger and it ROCKED....customer service was mediocre at first but the manager (Spencer) was quick to provide relief.
If you're just a little hungry and don't want the whole 1/2 pound burger, you can do a "burger snack" and make it into one of the "fancy" burgers for $2.
