Get a mimosa carafe, country poutine the beignets for brunch! Sit at the bar and you can see your meal being freshly prepared. Nice to take a look around the market afterwards

"Society Fair is both an old-world concept and something very modern. It's where to find fresh breads, cheeses, desserts, butchered meats, stocks, cocktail mixers... but also where to find dinner."

A bit pricey for a small lunch. Pope's Lunch was great - prosciutto, basil, arugula, red onion, balsamic vinaigrette on a crusty baguette. Small but quality beer selection.

"Society Fair is not a restaurant. It’s a bakery and a butcher, a cheese shop with desserts, a sandwich counter, a wine bar, and once a week, live theater." - November 2012 Issue

There are some amazing gems in the refrigerated section like fresh beef broth and veal demi glace. Save yourself time in the kitchen without sacrificing flavor or quality!

The Wild Card coffee is great! Typically it's some type of mocha with a seasonal spin. Right now it's gingerbread, awesome!

The sandwiches were great - but the service was horrific... Everything that could go wrong, did. The 'barley 18' pompous staff at the front counter couldn't have cared less.

The buttermilk biscuits are like homemade. The service process needs work, though. If your guests need a sign or employees to remind them, it’s not intuitive, and can be improved.
