A lot of attractions are within walking distance from one another. Don't forget your hat & gloves (if it's cold). I also like to carry my phone charger with me just in case.

There’s lots of great public art in the Loop/Financial District area. It’s worth getting off Michigan Ave and exploring around LaSalle and Clark streets.- The heart of Chicago. Take in the architectural views, the shopping, restaurants, bars. It's a beautiful, historic town and the people are friendly!
If you are lucky enough to work in the loop you will never be disappointed this time of the year believe that!
So much to see here. Chicago Theatre. Block 37. Be a tourist - unless you are already one - and enjoy all Chicago has to offer.

- State and Madison is the center point, the 0-0 mark of Chicago. 0 west-east, 0 north-south. Pretty cool to be in the heart of it all.
- Ride the El. That's the reason there's a Loop to begin with. The El or elevated rides around in a downtown loop.
St. Patty's Day weekend, it's crazy down here with the parades and the hooplah! Other than that, the Loop is the place to be! It's the epitome of Chicago!
there is still something special about downtown Chicago. No matter how many times I go.

- Stop into any one of the Garrett Popcorn shops and order The Chicago Mix. Cheese Corn and Caramel Corn mixed. If you think that sounds like a weird combo, you are so missing out.
- Put your iPhones away when you are walking. There's been a rash of thugs stealing them or trying to steal them. Be aware of your surroundings here and everywhere in Chicago.
