    Like Pacific Heights, but lower. Notable for its proximity to Japantown (Japanese food, Sundance Kabuki cinema, Kabuki Springs & Spa) and for nifty little concert bar Boom Boom Room.

    Lower Pacific Heights used to be considered the Western Addition, until real estate agents came up with the new neighborhood name in the early 1990s.
