- Miguel AntonioJanuary 29, 2014Just like the original. This is the real deal, and in the middle of the greatest city in the world. Blackened Quesadilla or Fish Tacos are top notch
- Annie JNovember 11, 2012Tried the Cajun fish taco since thats the one that's recommended but actually the shrimp was much better! No frills place but with full bar which is great. Staff was very nice too - would come back!
- Dan PullmanMarch 21, 2012A hot march day. In NY, but need an escape to Beachcomber life. Fish tacos is the call. And a cold one. Good loud music. Seat at bar. Very very friendly staff. Have fun. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- RabiahJune 30, 2013As a Californian missing good Taco Tuesday and good tacos so happy Wahoo's is here! Chips were stale but we were starving so ate them. Should have said something. Tacos were AWESOME!!!
- Amanda FordJune 3, 2013Solid affordable taco spot if you're in flatiron, plus lots of skate/surf artifacts everywhere if you're into that shred life!
- Thomas WoodMarch 6, 2013Tuesdays is $2 tacos, tequila shots and corona. When they run out of Corona it's basically $2 any cheap beer. Tacos are delicious and the well tequila is pretty decent.
- Get a carne asada bowl without the teriyaki sauce and replace it with the red enchilada sauce. Add the mild green sauce on the side and the gringo bandito sauce.
- Dominick MartinezAugust 21, 2014Chicken or steak quesadilla with extra pico de gallo, guacamole & sour cream and a cold beer makes one tasty meal!
- Start with the Cajun fish tacos & work your way through the menu. Have yet to find something that isn't great! Great to have t here in NYC!
- I always prefer the grilled fish to the Cajun, and those are some awesome Maui onion rings. You can order food at the bar too!
- Lucius KwokFebruary 24, 2012It's like all the other Wahoo's in the country, which is a good thing since its the only one in NYC. The shrimp taco and the fish taco are good.
- Olessya KuzAugust 18, 2013Mediocre fish tacos (cajun better than grilled), decent pork tacos and mushroom quesadia, good shrimp tacos & great cheap frozen margaritas ($7)
- AFebruary 20, 2012For beginners, get the #1 fish taco combo, black beans & white rice. I like the spicy fish. Extra limes! After that, go nuts.
- Forget my earlier tip: avoid lines by ordering everything at the bar. (Great Margaritas). Then sit down, they'll bring it right to you.
- Chris SmithApril 30, 2013Outer Reef Burrito with Cajun Fish is amazing and huge. You won't be disappointed!
- Best fish tacos! Happy hour from 12:00-7:00 every day. Can't beat the prices, music and awesome workers.
- N'jaila RheeAugust 9, 2014If you can ignore the commercialization of a subculture the quesadillas and fish tacos are pretty good.
- Not fantastic by any means, but still better than wasting your $$$ at Dos Caminos. Order by phone, and bypass the line when you come to pick up your food!
- Cesar RazuriMarch 24, 20122 taco combo (cajun fish & carnitas) with rice and beans on the side. You will be full.
- My SoCal saving grace. Thank god you've finally arrived! #2 fish tacos only rice, extra green sauce. Can't go wrong.
- Super friendly staff. Had the Cajun fish burrito combo and I'm stuffed. Nice atmosphere.
- Kaisha De La MareApril 20, 2013Fish tacos, or taco/enchilada combo is delicious. Let's be honest... everything is good.
- Cajun fish taco? Amazing. 3min burrito. Really good. And all of their different sauces? I'm just glad Wahoo's in NYC now

- Nina LoSchiavoMarch 15, 2012Maui onion rings were the only tasty part of my experience. With the exception of the fish taco it's less than subpar fast food Mexican.
- Alex BrownJune 13, 2012GREAT food, good portions, affordable. Staff was attentive and fun. Highly recommend.
- KaydeeJune 10, 2012This place is like chipotle but fish tacos. So you can get a Mexican fix here but it's nothing special or notable. Wouldn't go back. That said, service was really friendly and helpful.
- The bartender Ben is a hottie! Ladies, come after work. There will definitely be a banker here to buy your drinks!
- Wilfredo OteroMarch 22, 2013The food is great, the staff is awesome and the frozen margaritas are amazing!!!!
- Jelani BektembaFebruary 13, 2013Got the Kahuna special- chicken burrito was dry/bland, same for the steak taco (though the meat was good). Cajun beans are not good either.
- Ryan WarrenderMarch 6, 2016Skip it and go get some authentic Mexican tacos. This place was an insult to tacos everywhere. But then again a bad taco is still a taco.
- Make sure you stop by for Taco Tuesdays - $2 tacos, tequila shots and coronas.
- Chicken enchiladas with green sauce. White beans, brown rice. My staple
- Jessica EliasAugust 11, 2012Good happy hour deals, but the fish tacos smelled and tasted a little rancid
- Wahoo Bowl with Cajun Fish and Cajun beans is a solid option.
- West Coast import. I like their Tilapia with brw rice & beans.
- Make sure you check your food before you head out to make sure you got what you ordered. I've never been here without having my order screwed up.
- Hey NahFebruary 21, 2013Alternating between dubstep and bon iver? Whatever SoCal mexican plus Bklyn nets cool w me
