Use Platform A to travel back home for passengers staying in north area. It is open from 5PM to 8PM only. Easier to board as one side of the door opens only.
Always very pack at peak hrs & train door close off very fast very crowded most of the time
Train trivia. There's a platform clock at every EW (green) line station. For the older stations, the clocks are usually in the middle of the station. Keep a lookout for them! 😁

If you are heading towards marina bay from je or from Joo koon take the new platform A ! Lesser thn the usual one! Rmb the platform is only operating during 7 am to 9 am!- Hilarious anagram (phrase formed by rearranging letters) of this train station came up to "Just Orange". What do u think came up for the other stations? Search "Singapore MRT anagram"
For North South Line trains towards Marina Bay, board the train at either Platform D/E or A. For less crowded train, board the train from Platform A
Dinie Dasuki OsmanSeptember 13, 2011I think the new screens fail, the orientation wrong. U need to be in front of the screen to see the info. The old ones can be seen from anywhere along platform.

Train Fault again.... wait for half an hour ..... when on board the train, have to wait for another half an hour to move...😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
The train in the morning during weekdays is so pack.. Ppl on the train no longer sardines, more like tuna in a can..

Time tracking (kovan station to jurong east station) including waiting for train, train transfer, walking : 48min 45sec
Aside from shopping Malls, the place is uncomfortably crowded, (not by locals)- Forget about courtesy at peak hours. Everyone is rushing to get a chance to board the train. If u are courtesy means u will lose out in boarding the train.

SMRT added wrong platform for wrong train that make the green line so pack. After 8, will need to wait after 2-3 train in order to get in.
To lot 1 or north area, take red line train. It takes about 30 mins to travel to woodland
Despite the new mrt lane here. It is still crowded on weekdays
For quicker boarding ,please move to a less crowded area along the platform .Thank You.- The connection here is sucks to the max especially starhub user your mobile data can't be loaded at the point .

Morning peak hour and evening peak hour is so f**k up!!!! Singaporeans are damn KIASU!!!
Every working days these prc dunno is rushing for time or seats @ je platform.. really hate it so much!!!! Can't even get in e train @ all..
freaking pack during peaks..best to avoid..
Platform A & B only open from 7 am to 9 am on Monday to Friday except public holiday. What about evening peak hour?!!! :( Please operate for evening peak hours too please :(
stalls at interchange are pretty good to hve if you don't mind abt the price

It's great that the put on more mrt. Now the North South line not crowded anymore. :D

We seriously need to either cut down the population of chinas & banglahs in SG or increase the no. of trains/buses dramatically.- everything around was upgraded EXCEPT for that damn toilets!!! Eeee.... smells!!!
EveJuly 1, 2011With the new platform, things are slightly better but the crowds are still horrible around 7-8am and 5-7pm on weekdays.
- If you are alighting from grin towards pasir ris and honing towards marina bay, alight towards the new platform A ~ less ppl!!

Free show! Look at all the uncivilized people here who don't know how to even queue up in order and give way to alighting passengers.
