the Climate Controlled Cooled McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park opens up a week before Thanksgiving and remains open thru mid-march, weather permitting. Rink draws more than 100,000 skaters annually, admission is free and open to the public, skate rental available only $12.
