Dan HoodAugust 8, 2013Good to get off here if you're headed to Grand Central/the East Side, as you can take the 7. Nice alt to Hunterspoint Ave when it's not being served. Don't get on here though, as no trains start here

Kirsten AlanaJune 23, 2013If you're headed to the beach, ask for the combo ticket that gives you round trip transportation plus the beach admittance fee.
Buy a city limits ticket if you are heading to Penn from here .... it will save you some cash.
The railroad station is great. They just need to have all trains stop at this station regularly which they don't which is very upsetting to me
Really be wary of the crazed homeless guy who hangs around here. He's harmless but always be safe
You can change here going to Manhattan if the trains aren't going through the tunnels. Walk up to the street and take the subway.

The elevator service at this station is very poor two or three outages a week and often two or three days to repair
Do fall for the old man asking for money to get home because he was released from the hospital today. Been here for years
I just noticed this. If one has a craving for Nathan's hot dogs there's a place across from the station.
Be careful if you look up train times online, 2 out of 5 times they are incorrect or don't have every train listed.

Don't buy food from the newsstand on the platform. I saw a mouse having a field day in there a few months ago.
