- Take the tram to Roosevelt Island. Dont be the typical tourist and head straight back. Instead walk the waterfront down to Four Freedoms park and savor the amazing views of Manhattan.
- One of the best views in the city and a lot of fun. Dirt cheap too. All you need is a MetroCard.

- Tourists it's best to ride it late at night. This way you don't annoy the island residents and workers who depend on this for their commute to and from work.
- They recently redid the the station to include a roof to protect against the rain.
