    Miso eggplant was sweet & piping hot. The tortillas were tasty and the vegan Eton mess had great taste/textures. The drinks orders were really slow but the cocktails were great and service v friendly

    From the top and go clockwise, cous cous aubergine (must try), wild mushroom polenta (best main out of the three, great truffle aroma) and finally asparagus rotolo (it's okay, I'll say 6/10)

    The bunch of meat eaters sharing this meal with me loved it - especially the aubergine Schnitzel. The starters were okay, but the mains are so much better. Really creative kitchen. Have a rosemary G&T

    The courgette flowers and mushroom gnocchi were excellent. The cocktails were also a highlight. Menu changing to Autumn/Winter soon, so look forward to trying a new set of dishes.

    Wild mushroom risotto cake is vegan, gluten-free and outrageously tasty. Vegan (and gf) Eton mess was a welcome surprise. Great wine selection. Nothing but love ❤️

    I'm a hardcore carnivore & was a veggie restaurant skeptic until The Gate made me a believer. The Miso Glazed Aubergine is delicious, melt in your mouth goodness. The wild mushroom main is also tasty.

    Great vegetarian food in a lovely high ceilinged room. The brunch menu on weekends is good value – I had the shakshuka which was delicious. The potato chat starter is great too.

    Great food and the options are amazing. Who would've thought you could be so creative with vegetarian dishes? Really impressed and food just as tasty. Would definitely recommend.

    Get the courgette flower, aubergine and polenta chips. The summer pudding was very good, and the peanut butter brownie was alright but could have been more chocolately.

    The food is so nice and the staff lovely. They have a great selection of wines and beers. I ordered Carciofini as a starter which was delicious and Cauliflower Rotolo I would recommend it.

    Desserts, from top and clockwise: orange sponge cake (too hard, not that great), Panna cotta was lovely with rosewater flavour and pear tart tartin was 6.5/10. I don't suggest desserts here.

    This place has amazing vegetarian food! Every dish we had was just great. The restaurant itself is just ok but it worth a try for its amazing food.

    the service was great& I wantd 2like the food but I didn't.I won't go bak.beetroot ravioli was not pasta but 3slices of beetroot with soft cheese inside?the mains were ok,but I could make a better. :(

    As the quintessential carnivore, I was a bit skeptical, but the involtini starter was really yummy and tasted meaty! I did not leave hungry :)

    Beautiful food. We had the shared mezzo platter, the aubergine main and the risotto cakes and all were lovely. Service great.

    We had the two appetizers, burger, sweet potato and pomegranate salad, polenta chips, peach with ice cream, and cheesecake... it was all terrible. It took us 2 hours start to finish. Won’t be back.

    Tasty but overpriced. I was still hungry and could have happily gone to another restaurant for a main meal and I’m a skinny young woman. Not value for money.

    Average food, sloppy service. Waiter leaning behind the counter to eat his lunch and just turning his back at the end without notice wasn’t very fitting for the location. Out of place and tune. Avoid.
