- Anja Z.July 14, 2017Erdäpfelpuffer = fried potato pancake, greasy as fuck, but delicious. Bratwürstel mit Bierkraut = sausages with cabbage (sauerkraut), also delicious. Service fast as the speed of light. 👍
- FRITZ fritztheyodelerJuly 16, 2015An authentic beer garden here with beer flowing (literally) until closing. Chow down on some pig/pork ankle and choose to he a glutton. It's ok, it's ok. Enjoy yourself. Get the cold "frucade" too.
- This is a must when you visit Vienna. Stelze (pork knee) is rather for 2 (hungry) people, because it weights around 1 kg. When larger group of people, be careful, waiters can do "weird" calculations ‼
- JoannaAugust 6, 20218/10 Great beer garden with traditional Austrian food. Great service. Huge portions. We had Viennese schnitzel, dumplings, potato fritters with garlic, sausage with sweet mustard & goulash.
- SabrinaNovember 6, 2016Right by the amusement park "Prater". It has the best authentic austrian cuisine and it's always packed, so be sure to make reservations. gepudert.net
- Natalia HoncharovaAugust 24, 2019Nice beer-garden but overcrowded as it’s located near the Prater amusement park. However, the area is quite big and you can always find a sit somewhere outside or at the 2nd floor 👌🏼
- KatiaSeptember 19, 2016Super nice beer garden, the home made crisps are amazing! The Stelze is unforgettable, and they have a really good beer selection.
- IgorSeptember 7, 2014A bit expensive and crowded but worth it. Good Czech beer and very big portion of Stelze.
- Zdena PanisovaSeptember 20, 2018super cozy place for beer 🍻 stelze and some “healthy “ Austrian food in Prater
- Nice Location, clean rest rooms. Delicious backed (not grilled) chicken - called "Backhendl".
- ClemensAugust 17, 2014Legendary Prater institution! Large beer garden and very good service. Must eat: Steltze with sour cabbage
- Kunal ShahAugust 12, 2019Best for their grilled pork (house specialty) and the in house budweiser budvar lager.
- Simply a must on a beautiful spring/summer day for visitors aswell as locals! Best beer in Vienna and delicious food. As tourist attraction pretty expensive though...
- Ulle UlreichJuly 31, 2013if you are in group of 5+: you don't need to give a tip, as the waiters are adding beers to your bill anyway!! >( closely watch them writing down your beer orders!!!
- Nicholas AllioJune 1, 2021The best Stelze in town. Try this place for an authentic Austrian fest atmosphere
- Andy ZeinApril 16, 2014You must try the Stelze in Schweizerhaus. Good place to enjiy with friends 7.5/10.
- Spotted by Locals - city guides by localsSeptember 15, 2015
- Friday, early September, warm weather. No place, everything occupied and no chance without reservation...
- Simone P.December 5, 2013Biggest Shank of my life, delicious, I'm proud that I finished(slowly slowly)... ;)))
- Matt BraggAugust 8, 2016Fancy a Pork Knuckle? Well then for lunch, assemble your family of four, order one and some side dishes. Unless to have 2+ teenage boys you will have more than enough to feed everyone.
- Răzvan VAugust 6, 2016Ask for and check carefully for the bill. For groups they are charging a lot as additional!!! Very bad atitude of waiter when we claim extra!
- Usually really unfriendly waiters. (Today seems an exception). But once a year i need a stelze and beer here.
- Shara Patricia Ciravolo FesserJuly 26, 2014The food was horrible, even a simple salad or the spinach pasta.... The service@was as well just not bearable... I believe is@probably just too@much for tourist? I used to like it....
- iraide aramberriaMarch 16, 2013Sit yourself 'cos the staff won't do it. Most of the waiters very unfriendly. No menu in english and they won't bother explaining the courses. Good food. Always crowded.
- Mariann MApril 13, 2016We tried the 'Stelze', but it was nothing special. Waiter was rude, blaming us when he delivered incorrect food. Typical "tourist" place, in a negative way.
