Fun fact: The dangerous looking light switch in the back is the old stage light switch from the Warfield Theater from the 20s. It now controls the lights in the cafe.

Amazing coffee and sandwiches! The Crankshaft (tuna melt) is spot on and they only serve their infamous sticky buns on Fridays!

Fabulous 1" slice of whole wheat toast with homemade Asian pear preserve and almond butter ... I think. Might have been a sweet peanut butter. Delish.

The espresso is amazing, the venue is quaint, the neighborhood is the worst in San Francisco to have such a fine shot.
