    If there's a Yankee game you are trying to get North or South, avoid I87 or even the FDR/HRD due to traffic. Use the local street or Route 9A. It ill link you to I87 in Yonkers. Even I95 ill help

    Weekends are great, weekdays suck,you're better off on the Henry Hudson Pkwy or cutting through to Dyckman.

    This highway has become such a smooth ride now that it's finally been worked on. Ongoing construction is still a pain though.

    When exit 3 is backed up (getting off) take exit 2 to get into the city. Get into your right lane in order to catch the FDR.

    Fordham Road (Exit 9) is usually more congested than 230 St (Exit 10) during rush hours.
