To visit the rooftop 1) use the salvation taco restaurant entrance 2) ask the hostess within restaurant to put you on the waiting list 3) when they text you in upto 30 mins they will give you a stamp

We love coming here for the beautiful rooftop bar and views, along with the expertly crafted cocktails. Beware: there can be a long wait to get up to the roof, as the space is pretty small.

Had drinks and appetizers after work in their indoor restaurant. Come early because it gets crowded fast! Ribs were to die for! Couches were comfy and romantic. Great for date night.

Beautiful and one of the more "chill" rooftops in the city. Expert note: get there before 4. The rooftop bar is closed but you can take your drinks to go from downstairs and skip the lines!

One of the Best Rooftop Bars in Midtown. Brick wall architecture with the arches makes for a nice intimate atmosphere. Good cocktail selection. Only downside is the wait - arrive early.

Great rooftop with amazing cocktails and tequila selection. Vero Mango and Vida Verde are the best, plus the yummy and spicy guacamole and chips they serve up there. Great bartenders, good music.

Get a Greenport Harbor Devil's Plaything. A hot pepper and citrus fruit infused IPA brewed by the North Fork of Long Island brewery especially for Salvation Taco and the Pod 39 Rooftop Bar. Delicious!

17th floor of this c.1916 "young-minded" Pod 39 Hotel. Original brick arches and terra cotta columns frame the roof, punctuated by crawling ivy, potted plants, and Mexican-tiled tables.

Ridiculous system for getting upstairs, but it's worth the horror of the wait at the downstairs bar. The rooftop is fun, packed but fairly quick service, and nice views.

Cute rooftop and nice view. Packed around 5:30 on a weekday, quieted down after 6. Try The Upside Down! Pricey but strong.

Went on a Friday night, no cover, but the wait took a while. It was about an hour before we could go to the roof. Very busy bar, but amazing views and good drink selection.

If you have foursquare, use it to find a better rooftop bar. Pod 39 looks nice at first glance, but that's where it ends. Their weak drinks don't help either
