Love this area, you never know what you might find. Suprise jazz (or other music events), ice cream. This is where to go if you want to experience Dutch culture on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Quirky market on the first Sunday of the month. Mixed bag from great selection of street food to designer tat. Good for a Sunday stroll.

This place has grown up over the years. It's still an event spot but also has one of the best coffee spots in town, an excellent wine bar, jazz bar and tasty beers at the Troost brewery.

Fantastic event hall which is hosting various conferences, shows and concerts. Ambiance is great inside, loved it.

Outdoor concert festivals are a common event at Westerpark. With big acts like Radiohead and Lenny Kravitz, instead of shelling out €60, just hang out in the park and listen with the other music fans. Read more

The park seems nice, but perhaps it's prettier in the summer months. Looks devastated in winter and the seagulls take over!

Everybody's talking about Vondelpark, but I prefer this venue! Great environment with several interesting F&B's in the neighborhood.
