- As the Silver Spring station straddles Colesville Rd./Rte. 29 ride the backed of the train for easy access to the south exit and the front for the north exit.

- From Silver Spring ride towards the back of the train for quick access to the Green/Yellow Line.
- If u plan to park in the parking deck, get there before 7:20-7:30am. Don't park in unauthorized empty spaces or else you'll get a ticket @ $50
- Always delayed, but if you ride the Redline you know this already! Single tracking, ugg!!!
- Red-Line has the most problems..Maybe if they cut back on Metro workers pay we'd get some better service and working trains.
- Go to the last car of the train to be the first person on the working escalator at Takoma station. Oh and the escalator may stop working while ur riding it- kinda scary, right?! Lol
- Get comfy! It's an hour to Shady Grove from Silver Spring.
- Get off unless your getting off prior to New York Ave... Or have plenty of time to waist...
- Avoid red line at all costs! Anything from woody park up prepare for long useless waits.
- Have a book, Magazine or Ipod the metro redline sucks...
