Our preferred route for when we travel from Westchester to Long Island, but don't even consider taking it if you don't have EZPass...you'll be waiting forever.

There is a service road that goes under the bridge that will take you to the north side from the south side. Many people dont realize this. There is also a great park for summer activities!

If you have an ez-pass, put it on your windshield like you're supposed to. Nothing worse than being stuck behind the guy who is fumbling in his glove compartment while the cash lane moves along fine.
