- Houston PressAugust 20, 2014Vibrant curries and dum biryanis wow at Indian restaurant Biryani Pot, located just east of Hillcroft on Westheimer. The menu is Mughlai, Turkish and Arabic fare known as Hyderabadi cuisine. Read more
- Ellie EllizaSeptember 11, 2014We had Gobi Manchurian, Chix 65 & Chix Briyani. It was authentically GOOD!! It was soo authentic tht you can even smell it before you even enter the rest. You will nvr believe tht you are in Houston!
- They changed the spicy chili fries to use steak fries instead. It's not nearly as good now that there's less surface area for sauce and spices. Get the chicken 65 for your appetizer instead.
- The house special chicken curry sounds plain but is solid. Spicier than most places, this is the Indian "chicken and sauce" dish fine right!
- elisha amosApril 4, 2016try the egg biryani its the best and also try the chicken 65.. every dish here is awesome and yummy and spicy too. I m to in love with it.
- Always get the dish with its name in the restaurant's. The chicken Biryani is the default dish everyone should get!
- Missed red light Luckily hit the brakes on time and the food went flying from the passenger seat but was undisturbed I swear Food packed well Try the stuffed onion Naan Great with Beer
- OMG the "Chicken 65" is amazing. What did they do? It's like spicy Indian chicken with some Chinese influences.
- Andres NovoaNovember 9, 2015The biryani is pretty good but also on the spicier side! They also use a lot of cardamom in their dishes.
- The egg and chicken fried rice has ton of chicken thighs beneath the rice. Yummy and not what you'd expect for "fried" rice.
- Packed with little parking. Though... There are lots of people of the same ethnicity as the food. Must be authentic!
- Beware of parking in the next lot. Tow truckers are waiting to tow. There is extra parking towards the rear of the building heading towards the apartment. Almost got towed on a Saturday nite
- The saag paneer has a kick to it too! One if the best versions around!
- Amrit Plaha ChavadaFebruary 8, 2015Ordered chicken 65 and chicken biryani - very very spicy! Gave me a runny nose but couldn't stop eating. Thank god for Thums Up.
- The chicken tikka has a kick to it and served sizzling with onions and lettuce.
- Th bread and rice situation is no bueno got this Indian restaurant. Unlike other sit down places, all bread and rice is a la carte. :(
- Don't park in my apt complex parking lot you will get towed. (the watermill) there is parking in the back of the restaurant .
- I live near and always here. Great food and a lot of people. Ear their twice a week. A must try .🍜🍜🍜
- Kas ModiyaOctober 7, 2015This is best Indian Hyderabadi Biryani Place. Make sure that you eat Biryani here without fail. Other items are okay but other items are not their speciality.
- Best biryani, ask to make it spicy so you can feel the real biryani.....
- Chicken biryani with chicken 65, mouth watering combination ;) Don't miss that !!!
- Batiste KevinNovember 15, 2013Tandoori chicken was good. The goat chops app was tough and the indo-Indian shrimp fry was good. Not impressed for a 30 dollars take out and a 30 min wait.
- super personJanuary 13, 2013Food is great....place is cold...put the forks and spoons down and enjoy the biriyani with fingers.
- Restroom is too small and fits only one Also no place to sit if ur take out client Other than that the food is fresh Cannot hurry must wait
- Love this place the food is great and I recommend it to everyone .
- Awesome & the best Hyderbadi Biryani in Houston!!
- Ryan RogersMay 12, 2015Nothing seemed fresh except for the naan. I had their signature biryani with goat, but most of it was bones. Subpar indian fare in my opinion.
