    Head up to the top of the observatory for a stunning view. Make sure to take the time to take in the view. You can also see the Hollywood sign from the left side of the observatory.

    Just beautiful. I love the hikes at Griffith Park in the morning. The park opens at 5:30 A.M. The views of LA are spectacular. The park is a lush green space in LA. So many things to do here too

    Worth it ! - Make shure you'll be there for the sunset. LA, Stars, Hollywood Sign, sunset, what else do you want? (Bring a pullover with you - might get a little cold up there) Btw. Its FREE!

    Great place for hunting and trapping. Lots of gold in the hills for panning and mining. Be careful for wild boars. Rest assured there are no fire breathing dragons here anymore.

    Easily my favorite park in LA. It has the best view of LA, especially at night. There are great hikes all around the park. Good views of the Hollywood sign.

    Come at sunset for great views of city. Go up the exterior stairs of the building to get to the roof.

    The definition of touristy. but so so worth it. Who doesn't love the stars and the lights? You gotta get there early though because the road to the summit bottlenecks like crazy

    Hiking here is great! You can hike up to the Hollywood sign or through the old LA Zoo. My legs are always killing me after this trail but I love it. The view from the top is AMAZING!!!!!

    Go up on Crystal Springs and Griffith Park Dr. It is where the Old Zoo is at. Check out the remains of the Old Zoo and go up to some great view from the trails.

    It's not just a view - panoramic LA city and Hollywood sign. They have a really mild hike and great exhibitions in the observatory. You can enjoy both day & night! Free parking! Great LA sightseeing!

    One HUGE park. Plan out your trip before you come because you can get lost! Park rangers search for lost people several times a year.

    You can pretty much do it all here: picnics, hiking, dog-walking, running or star gazing (at the observatory). Romantic tip: the city lights at night are gorgeous from up here.

    There's a great hike for out-of-town visitors. Starts near merry-go-round. 360 views of LA and Valley from the top, plus great views of Hollywood sign. But beware...a long uphill!

    Check out Amir's Garden. It is a short hike up the trail from the intersection of Griffith Park Dr. and Mineral Wells Rd. Water fountain, horse trough, and plenty of seating and shade available. Read more

    Travel Town is great for kids. My preschooler loved the old trains and getting inside them. The little train you can ride in was great too. Very cheap and worth your time especially with kids.
