- Jenya SJune 22, 2016Kotteri Hakata Tonkotsu with extra pork and Kimchi👍 Their steamed buns are also good, bbq pork or gluten free chicken. Go for hard noodles - that's the most authentic way (and tastiest too!).
- Jade TokarczykSeptember 28, 2013Lovely ramen. The Dracula will incinerate any vampires within a mile radius - both safety conscious AND delicious! Tori kare age men and also good. Very friendly service even at the end of the night.
- The Shoryu Tonkotsu is a must! So tasty and filling, the pork slices were melting in my mouth, worth the waiting outside in the rain as the place is quite small. Avoid the gyoza, pork inside was dry
- Tomek MazurJanuary 3, 2016Great place for all the ramen aficionados. I've tried Tonkotsu and it was definitely one of the best ramens I had. Super intensive broth and quality toppings. Worth recommending.
- Jacopo ChiapparinoApril 28, 2015Possibly the best place I've ever eaten this kind of food. Clean, great flavours and amazing textures. Ask for a recommendation, they will guide you through the menu. Their famous Ramen is unreal!
- Jeffrey JamesJune 12, 2015The ramen selection is great & nice you can add extras such as nori & egg. They have garlic cloves on each table with a crusher. Soup base is a little too salty. Felt really thirsty after the meal.
- Janny said what? JannysaisquoiJuly 11, 2016Kotteri Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen. You can add your own garlic or order the Piri Piri spicy sauce and other additions and adjust it to your taste. I ordered the noodles "hard". There is "extra hard".
- Tonkotsu is amazing! Creamy but light! If you want a kick get the piri piri one..or if u want yours more garlicky get the Dracula! Sides have expanded and have quite a variety!
- R 👳September 3, 2013Best Ramen so far in London. Karaage is also very good and so was the Nigori Chai cocktail. Come early in the week to avoid the queue.
- Bryan ChongApril 7, 2015Amazing ramen. Super authentic, and just like in Japan. Go for the Tonkotsu (pork based) ramens, they're the specialty and the best :)
- William HenwoodJuly 12, 2013Tonkotsu (a pork bone broth) ramen a specialty here. As a half Japanese guy who used to live over there, can definitely recommend this fine establish complete with decent beers and friendly staff.
- Namer MerliJune 23, 2013Probably the best ramen/japanese restaurant in London. They got gluten free dishes too! Prepare to queue a bit outside during the weekend.
- Scott GAugust 10, 2014The food is tasty and filling. However it's overhyped, thus making guillable Westerners fall for it thinking it's the best Japanese place in London. Staff are somewhat inefficient at times.
- Michael HadwinJanuary 28, 2016Hakana Tonkotsu is great. Move over Bone Daddies. Great tempura soft shelled Crab and great selection of Sake. Be prepared to queue.
- Ralph SwannJanuary 18, 2015Would come back again and again. Great ramen and hirata buns. Staff excellent. One improvement: install more fly lamps. Plum wine - just do it.
- A.December 16, 2014The current seasonal special, the seafood kimchee ramen, is seriously, seriously good. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a stayer.
- LloydOctober 27, 2013Delicious ramen for London standards. Make sure to head there early as it gets really busy! Flavorful soup base but egg was over cooked.
- Sean WilkesJuly 8, 2014Good food, but I always walk out of ramen noodle places thinking the same thing. Is a bowl of noodle soup, 1 drink + service really worth £20. I'll keep coming back, but doesn't mean it's good value
- Jon ChooJuly 23, 2013Fend off the summer heat with the Cool Hiyashi Tantan: cold ramen served with a chilled spicy minced pork dipping sauce and BBQ pork.
- K. AdamJanuary 27, 2016The curry ramen has exceptional broth, and a very generous portion of karaage therein! Delicious late-evening dinner spot.
- A BNovember 30, 2014My Dracula tonkatsu was salty, hot, delish. I had no. 2 firmness for my ramen but if you like yours with a bit more bit, get there harder noodles!
- Jennifer HardiAugust 31, 2013On top of their gorgeous ramen, try their Hirata Buns! It's super delicious and so far is our favourite Hirata Buns in London <3
- Rewan PartiJune 27, 2015Hakata Tonkotsu is the best. Service good but tables are really close together and it gets a very crowded. Do order the Harata buns.
- TessaJuly 30, 2015I ordered Hakata Tonkotsu as it was described as thicker&creamier soup than other. But the soup was not even thick as what good Tonkotsu(pork broth) is supposed to be. Not as authentic as their egg
- Christine FaiSeptember 11, 2017Such a great ramen - the soup is lovely and rich. And their shoryu buns are light and tasty!
- Giorgi MerebashviliSeptember 18, 2016Seafood tonkatsu (ramen) was suuper delicios iamm, seaweed salad was wow
- Thomas PajorOctober 29, 2015The hirata buns are gigantic! The ramen is quite excellent. I also liked the interior of the restaurant.
- AnneliesFebruary 6, 2015Good Kotteri Hakata Tonkotsu. Friendly staff, they will explain you the menu. Relaxed and not very crowded. Would recommend.
- Ebby DabiriNovember 26, 2019Dined there twice and Kimchi seafood Ramen is out of this world! The squid balls + Japanese beer were good starts...
- Yuki MacSeptember 9, 2013I love this ramen. This is one of the most authentic ramen I had outside Japan. I ordered yuzu tonkotsu. Gyoza was so-so.
- Plwm BwmMarch 8, 2015Excellent Hakata Tonkotsu. Service good but tables are really close together and it gets a very crowded
- Marco SousaApril 15, 2015Just epic ramen especially with the pork based broth. The shoryu buns are especially nice as a side.
- Mar BloyeJanuary 4, 2013Fully recommend the food here! Love the Shoryo Ramen. Would def come back- shame there's no advanced booking, gets very busy.
- Adriana ConciniApril 24, 2013The Ramen was very good especially the spicy miso is lovely. I would not reccommend any side dishes or any other dishes apart from the ramen.
- Don RichardNovember 13, 2012If your here during the half price promotion, expect to line up for 20-30 mins before you get in then 40-50 mins before you get your £4 ramen soup
- Sarah J ParkerApril 19, 2017Not my favourite ramen in London but consistently decent broth and toppings :)
- FoodforlifeApril 16, 2017Average service. love the pork bone ramen! Matcha float was delicious. But the pork bun wasn't really that good.
- MurksauApril 26, 2013Great offers for great food! Try pork noodles, which needs to be cooked all day long!
- PhilippaFebruary 4, 2013Nice staff, helpful but worrying if the head chef doesnt know if the noodles are vege! Not many vegetarian options, vege broth disappointing!
- Milos GajdosAugust 15, 2015Hakata Tonkotsus is delicious. This is one of the best Ramen places in London!
- Pietro ZucoApril 29, 2013Amazing Ramen!!! Really tasty. Japanese staff. Stop here and have a great meal!!
- I found Shoryu better than Ippudo at same price range. Kotteri Hakata Tonkutsu with extra seaweed.
