Best to park your vehicle and walk around. Come 4 pm, traffic builds up especially at the back where there are markets on very narrow streets.

Go find some street hawkers with (usually) blue-painted cartwheel. Make sure "Es Potong" is also written on the cart, they sell a kind of ice sticks. Try the chocolate one. It's only IDR 2,000 each.
