戦前までは材木屋が多く立ち並び、現在の秋葉原再開発地域には神田青果市場が1980年代まで存在した。このほか、1970年代まで秋葉原駅には貨物駅が存在しており、かつて秋葉原は流通の一大拠点でもあった。その名残で日本通運が2002年まで秋葉原に本社を構えていた。また、鉄道貨物の輸送のみでなく、神田川を利用した水運も盛んであり、現在の佐久間橋跡および秋葉原公園がその名残である。Upvoted 3 weeks ago
RIZELRY YAMIUSA P (TEDEZA YUKIHA)October 30, 2016言わずと知れた電機、アニメ、サブカルの街。なお、このエリアを楽しむ際には「秋葉原」という地名と「秋葉原」駅は完全にセットで考えないほうが良い。電気街方面に行くにはJRおよびTX秋葉原駅、また東京メトロ銀座線末広町駅が最寄り。中央総武線で1駅隣の御茶ノ水駅や千代田線新御茶ノ水駅も可。逆に、同じ秋葉原駅でも日比谷線だとやや遠くなる。乗り換え駅の新宿線岩本町駅に至ってはさらに遠くなる。Upvoted Feb 6
