Once Murder Kroger. Always Murder Kroger. But that's not a bad thing. This Kroger is historical and had left its mark on the surrounding neighborhoods. It's the most popular Kroger in town, actually.- I love this Kroger! Best people watching & tons of "managers specials" & it's always open! Something about the seedy side of Atlanta that gives it such charm.
- Jessica BOctober 13, 2012This is lovingly called murder Kroger by Atlantans because there was a body that turned up behind the store in the late 90's. it isn't in a bad neighborhood- in fact - it's in a good one.
Great sales on ice cream....good excuse to buy it even if it is snow man weather outside- This Kroger is also known as Murder Kroger because a body was found in a car in the rear parking lot after residents complained about the odor in 2002.
Homeless people ask me for money almost every time I'm there in the parking lot. It's not my favorite Kroger location.- This Kroger has the best sale items--if you are willing to dodge the dicey clientelle that sometimes lurk in the parking lot outside.
Western Union money orders cost $0.69 each (up to $500 value purchased).
Don't expect professionalism anywhere in the store. They are used to catering to the poor and treat everyone like crap. The store is a disgrace and their nickname is well earned. Nobody cares.
