- David CaldwellFebruary 3, 2013The cortado is the best in town (a title perhaps shared with Catalina). Try it with their seasonal espresso (right now, Scrimshaw), then try it with their Bella Carmona espresso for a spicier kick.
- My Table MagazineJune 18, 2014The crispy-bottomed tender biscuits are without peer, and when you get the sausage, cheese and egg rendition, it’s a great start to the day. Note that Blacksmith is only open until 5 pm.
- EpicuriousAugust 3, 2014Coffee with a menu of inspired breakfast and lunch items (house-made yogurt with a spiced vegan granola; Vietnamese steak and eggs with pâté and French bread) from Per Se and Babbo alum Erin Smith. Read more
- DannAugust 31, 2016The taste of Vietnamese steak and eggs menu reminded me of the Korean Bulgogi and it was very tasty. The Americano that i ordered was rich in its flavour. Highly recommend this place!
- The Vietnamese steak and eggs is enough for two people. It comes with two sunny side eggs on top of marinated beef, a side of greens, and French bread with pâté.
- One of the best coffee places in Houston. Top notch quality in everything. Lots of coffee options, if you don't know, ask and they will gladly explain. Biscuits are made IN HOUSE and are AH-Mazing!
- RyanJune 5, 2017BLT sandwich is great portions, great flavor balance, on dope bread. Oh and pour-overs excel here (if not Inc to you already).
- All of the baristas here make great flat whites but if you see John L. (look for his tie/bowtie) behind the counter... you should really GET THE FLAT WHITE! You will not be disappointed.
- Tere PerryAugust 9, 2018Whatever you order, be sure to add on a side of Scratch Square Biscuits....sweet with cream and marmalade or savory with sausage, egg and cheese. Or both!
- Eric PanNovember 9, 20153rd wave coffee with a Vietnamese twist. Great breakfast items like biscuits with jam and butter and Vietnamese steak and eggs with French bread and pate
- Wilma M Henderson1 week agoThere were several options on the menu that I liked..... It was so tasty from start to finish and served with a lovely salad and some toast. A very generous serving.

- Richard HamiltonAugust 11, 2015Coffee: The espresso is done well. Don't skip the cold brew. Food: I've only had a biscuit, it was amazing!!

- Sarah BrindleyMay 22, 2016Tasty made from scratch biscuits. The ham and gravy biscuit was a little rich for breakfast but the chai latte was delicious
- This really is some of the best coffee you can get in town. Also, the biscuits. Scratch square biscuits. So good!
- Best yogurt in town. Served with granola made in house, drizzle of honey, and bananas. Pair it with the flat white.
- Reuben BarringerFebruary 9, 2013The marmalade biscuit Americano combo topped off with an after breakfast espresso is the most baller shit you could ever do.
- No need to go on and on, just get here! I will say, though, that the Butcher's Biscuit is so good that I literally haven't been able to get myself to order something else.
- Biscuits are awesome as well as pour-overs. Flat white is delicious as well. Nice atmosphere to relax.

https://www.topseocompanylist.com/houston - The place to hit up if you appreciate good coffee and menswear. The baristas are always dressed so well!
- Aisha TaylorMarch 16, 2013Hipster coffee shop! :) More room than Catalina, thanks to the outdoor seating. Minimalist menu, but they care about the coffee.
- Don't order the ham biscuit. It's a bowl of soup with a biscuit in it and an egg on top despite not mentioning egg on the menu, yet other biscuit items mention egg.
- Check out the bathroom for an interesting soap experience!
- Brandon AlredMarch 12, 2013Great vibes here. Excellence without pretentiousness. Baristas who care as much about people as they do good coffee.
- I really enjoy this place..espresso is rich and buttery sweet. But the drinks only taste perfect when the owner is on the bar...otherwise they are just ok
- Usually too loud and packed for my taste, but the coffee rivals fancy coffee shops in San Francisco and New York.
- If you haven't tried the biscuits there is something seriously wrong with you. There. It had to be said.
- Get a flat white and sausage biscuit. Then sit by the long table/bar by the window to stare outside & watch the cars roll on by.
- Judy PatelFebruary 10, 2013Croissant, egg and bacon sandwich! Croissant with creme fraiche and marmalade rocks too!
- My Table MagazineMarch 27, 2013It’s when you take a sip of that exceptionally smooth and creamy coffee that you understand what Blacksmith is all about and why they named it Blacksmith in the first place. Read more

- Stephanie FisherNovember 18, 2013They make their own almond milk in house, you guys. That is beyond amazing!
- Fantastic kitchen crew, amazing batista teams and food/coffee products that shouldn't be ignored.
- Best coffee in town! Friendly staff! Amazing breakfast food!
- Bill ArningFebruary 26, 2013Just tried the Cane Sugar Latte and it tasted great and had a real kick to it.
- Brett BendeleDecember 20, 2015Was impressed but they don't have soy milk or chai. Seems they are somewhat limited on a few simple things that other coffee places all have.
