Greg0ry TestaMarch 14, 2014My wife calls it "sucky 17" narrow stairs, very narrow platform. Watch going around stairs and poles. It's a little dicey- Track 17 houses a series of stairways that are scattered amongst Penn Station, ranging from both Amtrak & NJ Transit concourses to secret 8th Avenue entrances.
Lance A.4squareJune 28, 2011The east end of the station is the worst for leaving the platform up to the mezz level. Too narrow - congestion.
What's good here? Nothing! For God's sake this is Penn Station aka the seventh pit of Hell.
