    Running 24/7, the Blue Line is the best way to get around the NW Side late at night. During winter, the Belmont and Logan Square stations are best, as they are underground and sheltered from weather.

    Mind the gap! I've only used this station a couple times and it has to have the biggest gap from car to station I've seen. Looked like 6 or 8 inches!

    Best and only way to travel to O'Hare. Make sure to hold onto your stuff there's a big gap between the platform and train at the BELMONT stop

Belmont station opened in 1970 as part of an extension of the Blue line to Jefferson Park on the Kennedy Expressway. The station is similar in design as the previous station, Logan Square, as an underground, island platform station. Unlike Logan Square, Belmont has only one exit.
