- Xandrea RapierAugust 20, 2016The Truffle Hash is the business. Don't go on Saturday for take takeout, they have yet to get my order right. Closed on Tuesdays. Always crowded but never a long wait. Street parking.
- Steven VanceDecember 18, 2016The brunch items are great. My friend had the Ukie with sausages mushrooms, and sauerkraut. I had the Pork Bubble and Squeak with pork shoulder, sweet potatoes, and Brussels sprouts.
- Charlie RockDecember 23, 2016Hash, benedict(s) and french toast are all good. They have Dark Matter coffee, which is awesome too. Just a little too expensive for what you're getting for my personal taste. Cozy spot though.
- Chicago TribuneAugust 1, 2014Hash's take on classic American dishes includes five hearty breakfast hashes (like a traditional corned beef hash and a "Humboldt"-style creation of fried plantains, chorizo and salsa verde). Read more
- Dominique CruzSeptember 29, 2013Their specialty breakfast plates served over Hash Browns are Awesome!! I enjoyed the "breakfast club" and also, loved the option of a small or large portion. After all, who likes breakfast leftovers?!
- It should go without saying, but you need to order the hash. The Humboldt w/ chorizo is a staple, only topped by the buffalo chicken when it's the special hash of the day.
- Chicago TribuneAugust 1, 2014The chickpea hash is perhaps the most delightful offering: an eclectic creation of spicy chickpeas, Greek yogurt, crispy kale and paneer, served with a side of toast and eggs made any style. Read more
- Had the BLT to go once and it hit the spot. Lots of bacon. I can't wait to come back and eat my way through the menu.
- Mat BurnettMay 3, 2015Humboldt Hash thought experiment. Take the Neil Diamond classic "Sweet Caroline" and replace the word Caroline with Chorizo, sing loudly.
- s.March 24, 2013If you got a serious case of the munchies.. A small bowl of hash is not going to cut it, you're gonna need to acquire yourself a large bowl of hash.
- Roberto GrauJune 15, 2013They now have outdoor seating! This is great since indoor seating is so limited, particularly during weekend brunch hours when it gets packed.
- Jeff WFebruary 11, 2015This place is awesome! It has a unique menu, caters to every taste, and is BYOB!
- Jack VanOverloopOctober 31, 2018The hash is great but that Greek chicken sandwich, that ranch, that giardiniera cream cheese...
- Humboldt is good. Third time here and we waited over 40 minutes for our food b/c they forgot about us. We kept watching people who ordered after us receive their food. We complained & will not b bk
- Wendy A.March 21, 2013They serve the excellent Dark Matter coffee & get their bagels from New York Bagel & Bialy.
- Josh SciannaDecember 11, 2017Sausage and squash hash was tasty but the dish was a little cold. They serve Dark Matter coffee though which is a positive
- LauraJune 30, 2013Very rude and aloof staff...Came in on a Sunday morning, place was barely full. Waited over an hour for our food and when we asked how much longer it would be, we were told "that's just how it is".
- Tiffany Saxon-DavisJune 30, 2013Do not come here on a Sunday! Took over an hour to get our food and the place was not busy. The cashier let a LONG line to go outside and pet a dog. Came back and did not wash hands!
- Kristen 🐬 MarzonieJuly 28, 2013Pick yourself up a bottle of champagne for mimosas on the way. This place is BYOB :)
- Max MossAugust 10, 2014The Breakfast Club was surprisingly awesome, but the iced coffee was pretty awful.
