Honestly, seeing this monument with my own eyes made me realize that seeing stuff on the internet kills their values. You will witness how magnificent this structure is when you walk beside it.
Buy your tickets in advance, watch weather condiditions prior. I suggest to walk down the tower instead using elevator, less crowded and better views. Is taller than you imagine the first time
€17 to go right to the top for adults! Make sure to view the Eiffel after sunset, it sparkles every first 5 min of every hour. The views are breathtaking.

Reach via Metro 6. First view will be visible when metro passes over the Bir Hakiem bridge. Get down at Bir Hakiem stop. It is best to book your ticket online. Lines at the counters can be humongous.
Great experience and worth going up to have an astonishing view of Paris. The stairs are not so bad and especially back down the fastest way to exit (app 10 min vs 20-30 min by elevator incl queue)
5/14/13: you have two options 1) first level only and about €8, or 2) all the way to the top €14,50. Both are great views, but might as well go to the top! Will take at least 30 min wait time
704 steps up to the 2nd floor, where you can take an elevator to the top. It costs 5€ for EU citizens 18-25 to walk up to the second floor, then €6.50 to take the elevator to the top!
If you feel the need to go up to the top, reserve ahead on-line (tickets sell fast) or risk waiting in long lineups. (And if you’ve never been, it’s worth it. Best view of Paris next to Montparnasse)

I spent 13.5€ to go to the top of Eiffel tower. It was summer time and I came in the mid afternoon, the queue was so long! Better to come early. The view from the top was so great!
Great views at the top. I would suggest going to the Eiffel Tower both during the day to take pictures and during night to see the light show. Buy food and drinks before because prices are high!
You must go to the Eiffel Tower with the Fat TireTour Group. They help you skip the long lines, and provide a plethora of information about the monument's history. The second level was the best.
Nice area and the garden is beautiful, watch out not to be a victim of those who fool the tourists with their games, bunch of ppl who pretend to play a betting game to fool others.
Love love love!!! 🗼 Go on top! Enjoy view! We went to 2nd floor with stairs and didn't wait a minute. There we waited for elevator aprox 10min. Don't go on weekends.
I am sharing a tip today here since I am finally the mayor on Foursquare! My tip is straight forward: buy a ticket ahead of time, and when you’re there, scope the toilets - and then try for the front.
Everything.....the Architecture, the steel structure, construction, the surroundings.....and the elevator the most, becoz it takes us there on top. Marvelous, Awesome, Amazing.
At the top of the tower enjoy a mesmerizing 360 view of the city of Paris. At the distance, you can see Notre-Dame, Sacré Coeur & several historic landmarks. Stay & enjoy the light show at sunset.
Paying the little extra for the elevator was the best thing we could do! View is amazing!!! 😍 Come prepared if you visit during winter! Cold and wind was crazy up there!
When I go there, I prefer to take stairs and go to the 1st floor, it is sufficient for the view. The best time to go is during the evening (winter is freezing cold up there).
Such a beautiful site to see. Although there are loads of people but I reckon it's worth the trip here. It really is pretty when ur standing right before it.
Go upstairs and admire Paris sights. And at afternoon make a picnic at the garden. The best hour for check the lights it's 1am cause the Tower light turns off and you only see the sparkling lights.
If you wanna climb the tower, make your reservationswell in advanced or u'll be stuck in a LONG queue! I say dine and wine up the tower for the experience. . after all it is the highlight of Paris
It's a cliché but it's also a good reminder of what's left to visit and a great way to review what you've seen. From here, you can see everything. Plus, the most iconic Eiffel building.
From the top you have the best view in Paris. Overcrowded. A ticket to the summit costs 17€. Book in advance, the queue is up to 2 hours wait. During the winter you can freeze waiting to get in.
A “Must” for tourists. Sit down at champ-de-mars with a bottle of booze and have a great time. But don’t go up, it’s way to many people up there. Go up St-Jacques Tower for a great view.
To be honest it impressed me! After seeing so many images I didn't expected to be surprised. Very beautiful! Saw the sunset, just amazing. Also, took the stairs and only took 40 min to get in.
This tower is absolutely gorgeous from the outside. Once you're inside, it really just looks like metal, but the views from the tower are worth the admission and the wait times to get in.
Tip: take the line for the stairs (shortline!) and get the combined ticket. Walk the steps to 2nd floor then take lift. Cheaper and little lines. Nice extra: walk off the croissants..
