Hermann is simply the greatest guy in town, to build this marvelous place in the heart of Berlin!
Caffee Suess (Sonnenallee): Cheap Breakfast, really fresh and great ; Hasenheide, close by the Subway entrance: Pancakes & Co in a small street stand: Fabolous and affordable 8-)
Lovely place surrounded by different type of bar and shop. Could be a great meeting point before a night out
If the market is open go to the Crepes booth and grab a fresh orange juice for little money :)
There's a bank, some fast food, department store, phone store. The market is ok. There are other, better Plätze in Berlin
Manni's Currywurst-Turm is back! But I can't find it on foursquare to check in :(
- Currywurst an der kleinen Bude direkt auf dem hermanplatz probieren. Super Pommes guter Preis und ne 1a Wurst. Beste in Neukölln.

Der Name Hermannplatz bezieht sich auf Hermann den Cherusker, doch kam schon früh die Vorstellung auf, dass der Rixdorfer Gemeindevorsteher Hermann Boddin gemeint sei. Die Platzfläche gehört zu Neukölln, lediglich die Seite mit dem Warenhaus Karstadt zählt zu Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
