Nice, no nonsense, eco-friendly; great restaurant (tasty food, ambiance, decent prices). No problems with water pressure. Also, you may hear a siren or two. This is a city. Things happen here.
Love the location in the city, but note that it's located just around the block from the fire station, so you'll hear sirens on the regular. Windows aren't that sound proof.

Tee TranJune 24, 2013Be careful using the top of the dresser. There's gap behind the dresser & it can't be moved. If u drop anything behind it, make sure u have long arms, a pair of chopsticks or tongs to pick it up!!
Their mirrors make me look skinny, so... This is the best hotel in Chicago (IMO).
Mandie KoeckesSeptember 15, 2013The hotel gives you earplugs if you have a hard time with the noise. Perfect place for our honeymoon kick off. We are not from around here And the staff was extremely courteous and helpful!
Matthew TaubAugust 26, 2018Friendly staff and clean rooms. Rooms are small. Shower pressure is poor and TVs do not yet have smart features like other Marriott properties. (Netflix,Hulu, etc)

Jenny PollockJuly 7, 2013The staff is super friendly, but if you valet add 10 more minutes than you'd expect. Also, not a fan of some of the furnishings the clock and blinds were subpar.
If you're a platinum member, opt for breakfast over points. Beatrix is excellent.
Nice hotel, nicer than most Alofts because there is a full service kitchen in here.
