- AngieJuly 9, 2016Ashevillian Mama and fish tacos were sublime! Wait staff super friendly, environment was loud and fun. Can't wait to go back!
- Traveling VegJuly 24, 2013Vegans be aware: The veggie sliders and even the hummus (!!!) apparently have egg in them. I'm with a large group and I just ordered fries and asparagus. Great beer selection, though!
- Lewis SmallJuly 6, 2013The turkey burger here is the best that I have ever had. They definitely beat out the big chain restaurants. Handmade patty with spinach and other stuff in it. Try it.
- Meghan McGeeMarch 18, 2017The B.E.L.T with sweet potato fries was delicious. Good service and very spacious. Very dark inside so it has a definite bar feel.
- AtoosaNovember 21, 2020The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The bison burger was delicious! Also enjoyed their mango habanero sauce.
- Pete HicksAugust 21, 2011The beer battered veggies are incredible. Wings are fatty and slimey. They had a special on foursquare but they forgot to give it to us... then corrected only one on the ticket. Good beer!
- JD MaloneSeptember 10, 2017Good beer selection and the food is always good. Service can be slow especially if you are going on a lunch break.
- Ed SmithMay 24, 2011Try the Big Boss Bad Penny Brown- very smooth dark beer not hoppy, no large after taste, and is $10 pitcher on Monday... Give it a try!
- The Foursquare specials are a'flowing at the Bier Garden and so are the local brews. The best place to watch sports downtown hands down.
- Steve SlussJune 10, 2017I have searched hi and low for the perfect burger and now that I have had the Kangaroo burger here, I may stop looking.
- AUDIOMINDOctober 21, 2013Awesome selection of locally made brews. Support your local folks! Always. French Broad FTW.
- Best bartenders and servers in town! Not to mention the best beer selection! Best bar in town, no doubt!!
- Tom JMarch 20, 2012Imbibe Magazine recognized The Bier Garden for being one of the Best Places for beer in the South in their March/April 2011 Southern Issue
- Amanda W.April 21, 2012The Kobe burger is the best burger I've ever had. OMG. Gouda mac n chesse was awesome as well!
- Andy MurphyOctober 22, 2011On NFL Sundays, they have a great chart that lets you pick a table based on the game you want to see. Bravo!
- Melissa A.July 14, 2011Buck and Jackson kept my birthday celebrations in Asheville entertaining. Definitely the best place we stumbled upon in our beer-cation.
- Patrick CusackOctober 5, 2013The Spinach Artichoke Dip is terrible. The Bier Garden Angus Burger was pretty good. The half a Cuban is not worth $10.55. Over all it was ok but pricey. Won't be coming back again.
- I love the selection of craft bottles an purple haze on tap.
- Shannon LittleMarch 10, 2011Great place to watch march madness bball. Buck the bartender is accomodating and awesome.
- Pete HicksFebruary 13, 2012You can get the same Chicken Tenders at Arby's for a lot less $$$. Unless you're into to frozen over breaded Chicken strips avoid this!
- Marlee LongJuly 6, 2011I came here the other night and they charged me a 20 dollar temporary fee on my credit card to make sure it had enough money. The charge is still on my account and it's been over 48 hours. Sketchy Mof
