Split scoop is what you want if you're 1 person and want 2 flavors. Double scoop is what you want if you're sharing (or if you're just a solo ice cream fiend). Speculoos flavor is a must.
6 or so regular flavors & a few seasonal: all are made IN HOUSE!! You can even watch. Strong Coffee is amazing, & chocoholics will fall for Chocolate Chocolate. Try a homemade brownie sundae!!
Very intense flavors here. The sesame is super intense, great for sesame lovers. I got the vanilla and sesame in their homemade cinnamon waffle cone. Vanilla on top w/ salted caramel drizzle.
Fun place with enticing flavors such as speculoos chocolate chip and strong coffee. Each scoop is generously-served. You can also pre-order customized cakes from here.
Grab some delicious homemade ice cream, consider making it an ice cream sandwich with fresh baked cookies, and head to the back retro ice cream parlor seats to enjoy it.
You probably won't go wrong with anything here, but I really love the roasted pistachio. The sundae with fudge-like brownie is an indulgent sugar rush best shared!
Decent ice cream in a city full of excellent ice cream. Not the best though. I keep coming back but am consistently disappointed by the high percentage of air and noticeable ice crystals.
Davey's is not messing around with their bold, buzzy strong coffee ice cream flavor. It's laced with coffee grinds and is not for those who can't have caffeine after dinner. Read more
If you've ever wanted to melt down a candy bar and drink it, I have good news for you; Davey's Ice Cream has figured out how, and they sell it as “hot chocolate”.
Make your way to Davey's Ice Cream to try out its seasonal ice creams & sorbets with flavors like brioche French toast, and cinnamon-maple syrup & coffee-glazed bacon. Read more
This place does not mess around and you can tell because they use Bazzini's pistachios in their Roasted Pistachio ice cream and Blue Bottle coffee beans in their Strong Coffee ice cream.
Small place (like many in NYC) but they produce awesome stuff, special flavors are worth to try. When entering the shop it smells like just-baked waffle, oh delicious smell!
This pistachio is the real deal - not that weird unnatural green you've come to associate with lesser versions. Also, try the Mexican vanilla and strong coffee.
Past special edition flavors include chocolate babka ice cream and "Brunch," loaded with chunks of maple-soaked french toast and coffee-glazed bacon. Stop by and see what’s on the board.
Service is great! The hot chocolate is crazy decadent at 61% chocolate. The silky texture rolls around nicely. Definitely a sipping chocolate. No mini marshmallows needed.
The caramel sauce and their homemade waffle cones are great, but the ice cream itself is underwhelming. There are much better ice cream spots in NYC. Try Sundaes and Cones instead.
