Adam MNovember 9, 2018I went for a special night time event which was fantastic! it always happens around Halloween time so keep an eye out for tickets. it gets crowded so avoid the catacombs and check them out another day

Will SchollNovember 20, 2015You can cover a lot more area if you drive in and cruise around. Park somewhere in the center and venture out on foot.
Despite what you may think, this place has an incredible history. It also has beautiful, well maintained grounds. Their events are often worth the expense.

Untapped CitiesJanuary 17, 2014Across the street from the cemetery, there is a small abandoned greenhouse from 1895. Check out this Victorian treasure before the restoration process begins! Read more- Look up at the gatehouse at the main entrance on 5th Ave. A colony of Quaker Parrots, exotic transplants from South America, live in giant nests atop the spires.

favorite bathroom in all of nyc is in the chapel - all marble. great place to do your thing+acoustics for singing are amazing.
HISTORYMarch 30, 2010This cemetery opened in 1838 and has approximately 600,000 graves spread out over 478 acres. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2006.
