    I went for a special night time event which was fantastic! it always happens around Halloween time so keep an eye out for tickets. it gets crowded so avoid the catacombs and check them out another day

    One of the most amazing cemeteries. Fantastic history and amazing Victorian stone architecture in the mausoleums. Great place to walk around on a crisp fall day.

    as one of the largest cemeteries in the city and tree covered drives. nice place to take a walk through. they also do tours for the several famous individuals buried here. worth a look

    You can cover a lot more area if you drive in and cruise around. Park somewhere in the center and venture out on foot.

    Been here 5+ times
    Despite what you may think, this place has an incredible history. It also has beautiful, well maintained grounds. Their events are often worth the expense.

    Great views of the city as you walk down toward the 25th St exit. Resident stork at the urn building was a nice surprise.

    A must-visit for musical theater fans.Leonard Bernstein and Fred Ebb are buried here, along with many other artists, actors and musicians.

    Look up at the gatehouse at the main entrance on 5th Ave. A colony of Quaker Parrots, exotic transplants from South America, live in giant nests atop the spires.

    There is a restroom in the chapel close to the 25th st entrance, right by the lake. The chapel is also lovely, but may be in use for services.
