Go online and get the Greenline Garfield stop train schedule. It is pretty accurate and cuts down on the waiting time.
AliceJune 27, 2013Free to take the Green Line or re-routed Red Line from here, to make up for how inconvenient it is that so much of the Red Line is closed for 6 months.

The whole CTA train system needs remodeling. No elevators no escalators, three flights of stairs nothing to block the wind and cold air on platforms smh!!!

Garfield station is the southernmost consolidated Green Line station: south of Garfield, the Green Line splits into two branches, one terminating at Ashland/63rd, and one at East 63rd-Cottage Grove. This is the CTA stop nearest to the University of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry.
