One of the best places in DC to watch music. A big basement venue with pitchers of beer and quality bar food&pizza. Good for large groups.Upvoted 4 weeks ago

- checkitoutMarch 9, 2013Sushi while at a live music show?Excellent! I didn't want nigiri in the bento box, so for a $3 upcharge they gave me 2 firecracker rolls, instead. Love that rollls were not topped with goopy sauces.
For a long, leisurely meal - you will not be rushed. Skip the wings (better mumbo elsewhere) but get the fantastic reuben!
Great spot. The food is delicious and the bartenders know what they're doing. Danny and Tom are some of the best around and Tori is a great waitress! Worth stopping in.

Specialty Cocktails: Hamilton's Mule is really sweet. Skip the loaded martini. DC gin Rickey was delish as was the Green Thumb! Up Rowan's Creek has quite a kick! Spicy but damn good!

You can get so many different things on their menu. The sushi was especially good. Very good cocktails as well.

The chicken sandwich is to die for. The Betty's Apple is a great drink if you like your drinks a little sweet.

The Venue is an amazing performance space. I like the cafe tables near the upper bar. Best view in the house.

Beware of the brunch menu. EVERYTHING is overpriced...especially the frittata. You'd do better with a 2-egg side for $4 vs 2 eggs & a few salmon flakes in a skillet for $16.

Great venue! Stage is viewable from any seat. I recommend this place to watch a concert.
free live music in the loft on certain nights; a hidden gem in the city.
Bartenders are awesome. Crab bisque is amazing. Salads are all good. Anything seafood. SUSHI!
Check out the loft it is a hidden upstairs bar at the end of he bathroom hallway near the kitchen!
