- Good selection of ramen, including spicy. Kani and pork buns are great. Sake options are nice, too. Had the Kara Miso Ramen this time, flavorful and rich. Extra spicy sauce on the side is available.
- EaterDecember 9, 2013This cozy new Astoria Japanese restaurant serves 14 varieties of ramen, plus rice bowls, salads, and snacks. Several Yelpers and Foursquare users recommend the cold ramen dishes.
- jon ferrerAugust 23, 2014the ramen is just ok here. the spicy miso ramen is my go to, if I'm desperate for ramen. in the plus side, they have tsukemen, which is usually a better option here.
- I've positively fallen in love with this place. Too bad I don't live in Astoria. The veggie miso ramen is EXCELLENT! One of the best bowls I've had in the city.
- Kevin StappFebruary 24, 2018The Kara Miso Ramen was exceptional! We love coming here: food always good, cozy atmosphere & great service. Best kept secret in Astoria
- KinoMay 7, 2016The only reason to come here is for the lunch special prices. The ramen isn't that great. Shuya and Hinomaru, both in Astoria, are far superior. The Spicy Miso (pictured) is better than the Shio ramen
- Lovely place! Great service! Great food. Ask for NO Spicy if you don't eat spicy food, because most of their menu is spicy. Love the place but that's a pity that they are open only until 10pm.:(
- Justine CourtneySeptember 20, 2013Ramen was very good and I am picky! The shrimp shumai were amazing!!! We also had the octopus balls, but I am not sure their proper name. So good. Piping hot. Great service! Two thumbs up!
- Nicholas GalatisAugust 2, 2013The soy sauce is delicious and unique. I get the shumai every time I go there. If you're getting the shyoyu ramen put a little bit of the soy sauce in, it makes a difference for the better.
- Jessie RauchMay 3, 2014Places like this are one of the many reasons I love living in Queens. Better ramen / atmosphere than Toto or Momofuku, & no wait. Grilled chasu, curly chewy noodles, spicy broth.
- Fiona Coen TuncaJuly 19, 2013This place is really good. First time I went it was opening weekend and packed. This time I got the spicy veggie ramen with extra nooldes. Bomb!
- Russell HirschornDecember 17, 2015Kara ramen excellent, pork and shrimp buns were a bit dry, ebi shrimp good, mochi balls with ice cream awesome
- Erica B.August 26, 2014The veggie ramen looks amazing! Still uses shoyu broth, which is far better than any other veggie ramen!
- It was very good, but very spicy and it doesn't say in the menu so I had a stomachache after dinner;( But i'll definitely give them a second chance but I'll ask for a non spicy food first:)
- G BeckJune 10, 2013+: Hiyashi Chuka was great, service was excellent, and chashu was unique and tasty. ramen: only chicken broth, no tonkotsu, so not my favorite, but not terrible.
- The ramen is awesome but don't neglect the other yummy snacks like Takoyaki and Okonomyaki
- Theresa RoldanMarch 18, 2017Delicious ramen. I had the Tantanmen, and it was the perfect amount of spicy.
- Alfred M.July 12, 2015the cold ramen is perfect on a summer day. they also gave us complimentary mochi ice cream for desert. A+++
- Friendly staff and awesome ramen. Can't go wrong with the Tamashii ramen, add some hot sauce on the side for a nice kick.
- Gabriel ChungJune 6, 2013Decent Ramen. Not the best I've ever had but it beats the Ditmars Ramen spots. I had the spicy ramen #4 it was good but get the hot sauce on the side cause its Spicy!
- Rivka GJanuary 24, 2015super friendly staff, and great service. also very clean bathrooms. love it here!!
- Johnny AppleseedAugust 11, 2014Love the miso and shoyu ramen. Ask for house hot sauce on the side. The "kara" can be overwhelming if they put it on there for you.
- They often give you ice cream on the house. Nice staff and chasu, OH THE CHASU (however you spell it)
- Amazing neighborhood joint with great service. Get the tamashii ramen. The pork belly buns are hit or miss.
- Go for the curry ramen. It has fried chicken! So delicious!
- Jones ChanAugust 18, 2013Delicious broth and great pork buns! The fried chicken was tasty but needed a sauce to dip in
- Best ramen in Astoria. Perfectly cooked eggs and the pork buns are fantastic.
- Hailey CaldwellFebruary 26, 2018Free green tea and amazing ramen. Perfect for chilly winter nights 👌🏼
- Dan CheungAugust 11, 2013Came here and got a cold ramen per a server's suggestion. Definitely coming back for a hot ramen!
- Fiona Coen TuncaNovember 16, 2013The garlicky pork is really good. Once they gave us an extra one on the house! So nice!
- Kara Miso Ramen (hot) or Kara Hiyashi Chuka if you want cold noodles!
- Miso ramen, okonomiyaki and kara buta itame are some of my favorites
- The Mexican 👧June 7, 2013No different than any other ramen place in Astoria. It was good and the locals will like it but not worth leaving Ditmars for.
- Ted McDecember 22, 2017Wonder how long it has been here? Authentic spot. Had the curry ramen, very good.
- Random Explorer6 days agoThe veg miso ramen was horrible. The only vegetables in it were canned mushrooms, canned corn, broccoli. It was a sad looking bowl
