- Take the metro in Terminal 1 at the end of Gate 1. From Terminal 2, take the free SkyTrain to Terminal 1. It's only 5 pesos to get to the city center on the metro.Upvoted 1 week ago

- Use the free wifi to get a Uber to pick you up in Puerta 4 of Terminal 2 or Puerta 8 of terminal 1.
- Easily one of the most confusing airports in the world. Signage is sorely lacking, and there are so many random rules and procedures before boarding. Make sure you get here early.
- Best breakfast at Maison Kayser! You can also hit some restaurants and VIP lounges on the second floor...
- The best airport! It's the only airport where you can get a beer for £1.2 and snacks or food for less than £3 in the 7 eleven store, also the toilets are clean and you can arrive or leave by the metro

- Keep an eye on the flight screens and an ear out for the announcements. Delays and gate changes are rampant here.Charge your devices BEFORE you arrive. Working power outlets are few and far between.
- This is the place where I start to feel at home .. this is the only airport where you can get real Mexican food, ask for the food court, just before the security line.
- Food court for local flights in terminal 1 has many options compared to other airports. However, you gotta arrive here with lots of anticipation because is too crowded

- For the Metro, from T1 simply follow the signs and walk ~5 minutes, from T2 walk towards the parking lot and then follow the walkway to exit the airport, turn left and walk ~15 mins to Pantitlan
- If you are in TRANSIT, make sure you do IMMIGRATION when at the terminal. Otherwise you won't be able to board your next flight.
- T2 is the newest terminal and works for Aeromexico, Delta, Copa and Aeromar. Not accesible via subway but omnibus is available, although when in a hurry, Uber is the best choice. Breakfast in Keyser🥰
- If you want to switch between terminals, use the Aerotren, a train between terminals. Consider 6 minutes for the ride, max waiting time is 12 minutes.
- When flying in or out of Mexico City, try to arrive or depart terminal 2!! Much better than terminal 1, and a little cleaner. In addition, the Amex lounge is nice and the duty free area is big!!!
- You can eat at Toks meantime you wait to aboard the plane, it’s not so expensive and the food is great
- All the baggage of travelers from South and Central America is thoroughly inspected by trained anti-drug dogs. Immigration could be fast but waiting for the baggage could take around one hour.
- This is North America’s most cosmopolitan city whether arriving or departing this massive airport is the 16th busiest in the world. Celebrate that you’re here and the modernist charms.
- Excellent place to have a great meal. Plenty of amazing options before going through security. After security not so many...
- The floor is very smooth, so avoid wearing flip flop or thong sandals to keep from sliding.
- DanielleMay 24, 2019You can go to 7-11 (upstairs at departures) to buy Internet or just enjoy it for free at the Starbucks downstairs at arrivals.
- A little hectic but if you need a quick bite, there's a fast food court. The Iberia lounge has a nice relaxation room with couches.
- That molcajete you bought at the market, you can't carry that on the plane. Check that bag in, fam.
- Tony TJanuary 8, 2021BE ADVISED! IT IS ONE OF THE WORST ORGANIZED AIRPORTS. GET HERE WITH AT LEAST TWO HOURS PRIOR DEPARTURE.YOU WILL LOSE YOUR FLIGHT if you do not plan accordingly. PROSSESSING TAKES WAY TOO LONG!
- The airport is pretty big and it can take a while to get from Terminal 1 to 2. So take your precautions. Also, big sections of the duty get closed from time to time.
- Rachel KroftDecember 5, 2018Don’t lose or forget your exit visa! Give yourself lots of time for getting through checkin and security. This is a busy place.
- Keep the immigration form they give you when you fly in! You will spend an hour paying a 300 peso fine if you lose it, and since they only ask for it when you are boarding, you may miss your flight.
- The airport is divided in 2, both of them has national and international flights, so keep an eye on your time and scheldule, you may get the airtrain so you can get to you correct gate and terminal!
- Int’l Terminal is really nice, domestic terminal is alright. Terminals far apart so ensure you’re at the right one before heading to airport. Lots of lounge access. Easier to take a taxi than Uber.
- David FuxSeptember 18, 2013the iberia lounge beats the AA lounge by a small margin; united slightly better; but still very sad places; and restaurants / shopping also not very existent... do not get here too early.
- Check for your inmigration card at least a day before you leave, because if your flight is very early in the morning the inmigration office opens untill 7am work days, 8am weekends.
- Be prepared to stand in line for at least 2 hours for immigration
- Diego VelascoMarch 27, 2013Want a great farewell traditional breakfast go to Cucara Macara from La Mansion, terminal 1 second level. You wont regret it.
- Be prepared for long lines at check-in if you don't have preferred status, but the security lines are generally very fast. The lounges are also very good.
- Michael RamasNovember 16, 2011When you arrive and pass immigration, make sure you go to the right area for your baggage, because there are different exits for South American flights to North American, European and Asian flights
- RexJune 7, 2018Bad signage inside and outside. Some flights are assigned a gate one hour before departure. Before that, the alphabetical “gate” refers to a holding area. Easy to get an Uber to the city
- jansen cOctober 20, 2016Super long line at immigration, waited for an hour in line. Fill in the form early and rush to the front of the line. Uber to downtown is my pick for transit.
- A good option for food is Ojo de Agua - airport outpost of the popular Condessa sandwich and salad place
- Gotta love your hometown airport. It is the gateway to the world. Grab a bite at Bistro Mosaico before getting on the plane. It is very good.
- Eric BruceDecember 20, 2011Metro is outside Puerto 1 in Terminal 1. Extremely cheap, quick & safe transport to anywhere in the city. You can take Aerotrain / Bus from Terminal 2 (Bus outside Peurto 4). Few signs for Metro.
- Pierre VerdonAugust 12, 2013Huge airport. Numerous place to plug in your computer/smartphone. One more thing: you can find some free wifi connections (international and national departures).
- Minus the dirty bathroom, this was one of the better airport experiences I've had.. people moved through baggage claim and immigrations fast enough and the security is much friendlier then in the USA.
