First time you come here, get a salad without making any changes. They're designed to taste good the way they're on the menu. Also, the line goes pretty fast. 20 minute wait is worth it every time.
I have loved Sweetgreen since I first tried it four years ago. I love that they get as much produce as possible locally. I also like their creative take on salads. Try the citrusshrimp. Mmm.
Not a big salad fan but loved the guacamole green here (swapped for spinach). Was a little worried the jalapeño sauce would be spicy and the guy let me sample it first :)
Avocobbo salad was excellent but I think every choice is a good choice here. Very fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service (don't let the line during lunch time daunt you, it's moving really fast)
Sweetgreen is great if you’re on a budget. I like the one at the NoMad hotel where I recently made a salad with chickpeas, falafel, & lemon-tahini dressing!
NYC finally has a place to just sit and have a big ass salad with amazing ingredients and not feel like you're at some chain. GET the Earth Bowl. Love animals? Swap out the chicken for tofu.
I never thought I could crave salad until I ate here. Kale Caesar IS all it's cracked up to be. Rad Thai also delicious. Drinks are refreshing but are really just infused water and not worth the pric.
I love the Kale Caesar! Since the Caesar dressing is kind of watery (in a good way!), you can go light on the dressing and it mixes in to every bite. Overall, all ingredients taste so fresh.
Spring is here--get the seasonal wild rice bowl with goat cheese, apple, almonds, kale, and dried cranberries. The juices are excellent. But GO EITHER EARLY OR LATE FOR LUNCH. The lines get crazy.
Their salads are my favorite in the city. Their chicken is cooked nicely (tender) versus the typical salad spots. I love their misoba salad, but I'm sure any other choice is good!
Watermelon lemonade & district cobb. 'Nuff said. And people, the glass is there for a reason. There is no need to reach over and point to every topping you want. The staff can hear you just fine.
Avoccabo Salad was delish! Get there early because there's a line (that often goes outside) at lunch. It was about a 10 minute wait once the line got to the front door.
Amazing salads, love the seasonal ones, but the lunchline is crazy and out the door (I waited 40 minutes). Plan accordingly or order online ahead of time and pick up (less horrible wait for that).
Hands down my new favorite salad shop. Remarkably inventive salads and dressings, awesome drinks, terrifyingly fresh ingredients. Blown away by this place.
Great food, only salads though, so if you're super hungry go for 'earth bowl'. Usually super busy lunch do be prepared to take away or eat standing up. Which is tricky.
The kale salad is amazing. I usually get extra sauce but everything is fresh and delicious. The line is super long so go early or late in the afternoon.
Literally the longest lines ever at lunch rush but come after 2:15pm and it's doable. Spicycashew and misosesameginger dressings will make bring your salad to another level.
I've been recently trying to eat healthier, and this place really does make it easier for me. Lots of healthy and great tasting food. Highly recommend it!
With new locations popping up all over the city, it’s safe to say this D.C. salad joint featuring ingredients sourced from local farmers is officially a hit in the Big Apple. Read more
Order online to beat the lunchtime rush. Everything is fresh and delicious, and the staff is always upbeat. Leave your "trusts" and testimonials here: http://bit.ly/1fib4An
Be careful with adding shrimps😂my salad costed 18$ after that, not 8$ as mentioned on the board. But everything is fresh, tasty, crusty and well mixed)
But by wisely not stinting on fat, protein, or dressing, signature combos like the Kale Caesar and the Earth Bowl do solve the eternal nutritional dilemma: how to make salad satisfying.
Fresh salads, plates + grain bowls available for pickup and delivery every day, made in-house from scratch, using whole produce delivered that morning.
