Don't sleep on the delicious Shack-cago Dog, which is "dragged through the garden" with Rick's Picks Shack relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt and mustard.

The newest Shack in DC has all the goodness you expect from the joint. The Shack Burger, Shack Stack, Smokeshack. But only here can you get the Astro Doughnut-infused concrete, Doughnuts are Forever. Read more

Very tasteful burger. Bacon very well done and this sandwich comes with some pepper (not a huge fun, but must admit it was good). The shake with salt coffee is awesome and diferent. Very good cost.

No question about it, The Shack Stack is the way to go, it combines the crispy, gooeyness of the 'Shroom Burger & the meatiness of the Cheeseburger topped with Shack Sauce. Perfection!

Mushroom Burger (vegetarian, not vegan), Peanut Butter Milkshake, Fair Shake Coffee Milkshake, Fresh Cut Fries. Limited seating, arrive before 11:45 to beat the rush.

Shroom burger is the way to go if it's your first time! Cheesy fries was too cheesy, makes the fries soggy, perhaps will ask for the cheese on the side next time or just no cheese.

The Chick’n Shack sandwich is fantastically delicious ... and full of sodium I'm sure! This location can get a bit busy and you may have trouble finding seating.

Fresh & delicious burgers that they only cook med or well, but the well burger is still juicy. Can get away w/double b/c patties are somewhat thin. Custard's rich & creamy. Place is small & tight tho.

By far, the best doggone burgers ever -- there's an authentic feel of the past here; when BEEF tasted like BEEF. This spot is a Must, and grab your shake, too.

This spot can get busy pretty quickly as it is close to the Spy Museum and National Portrait Gallery. I didn't get sick from the food which is good. I would go back.

New York's greatest gift to the places with Shake Shack. Get a shack burger and a fair shake with some crinkle fries. House beer is also solid.

The 'shroom burger was great. Then, after reading for an hour, I became the latest "victim" of what a staff member called a "Random Act of Custard". Delicious and free! Sold.

On draft, a great match for the burgers: the Shackmeister Ale, a pale ale brewed by Brooklyn Brewery exclusively for Shake Shake.

It took forever to get the food, which is to be expected on the fourth of July, but then the food was cold. So clearly, we didnt have freshly cooked food, which begs the question, why the long wait?
